The boy moved, his melanin popping in the morning. The students were either snakes or homies. No in between. Well for Taehyung, he never imagined how lonely he would get. This explains something traumatic that he experienced, destroyed him and his social life completely.
The daffodils along the mini pond tossed their heads, fluttering and dancing in the cool wind. It was unusual to have them in a crowded place, especially a college.
Taehyung always wore a hoodie, no matter how hot it would get, he loved wearing his cotton shield. It seemed to make him feel protected and safe. Hoodies were just his thing.
He had just entered his classroom, searching for his seat immediately. Why he did that? To avoid company.
There were groups of girls gawking over boys in one corner, the jocks, who pretend they're the best in another corner and him, in his own world besides the window. He insisted on having the window seat because it brought him peace by admiring the lonely clouds just wander in the sky. Nature brought him peace.
"Taehyung?" He forced himself to look up at the owner of the voice.
It was his, well, so called "friend" Jungkook.
He was the only person Taehyung didn't mind interacting with. Because he was just like Taehyung, an introvert, but he was much more talkative when given a person to hold a conversation with.
Taehyung hummed in response, blowing his dark brown hair from his face.
Jungkook took a seat besides Taehyung, grinning.
"What do you want?" Taehyung asked, annoyed.
"I look so hot today, am I right? Many people complimented me" Jungkook gave his cocky smile, resting his chin in the palm of his hand.
"Your mom doesn't count, you weirdo" Taehyung replied, dryly.
Jungkook gasped and placed his hand on his heart,
"Harsh!" He exclaimed.
Taehyung could only chuckle at his reaction.
"Taehyung, now listen to me" The playful environment shifted into a serious one in a matter if seconds.
Taehyung was hella bad at confrontation.
He gulped,
"Yes?" He asked, muttering.
Jungkook cleared his throat.
"Who was that girl yesterday?"
-
Taehyung found himself avoiding Jungkook the whole day.
He's been dodging his question since the morning.
"Who? What? How? Where? Huh?" Was all he said before dashing out.
Currently, he was on the roof. The place where even the dust seemed peaceful to him. He forgot all his worries and problems.
He sighed, resting an arm over his eyes. He laid down on the hard concrete, the earth itching his back but he didn't care.
His mind was puzzled at this moment, how did Jungkook find out about that little Interaction with her?
His face suddenly felt very hot at the thought of her, a smile automatically creeping up on his face.
"She was beautiful" he murmured.
Her long purple hair that blew in the breeze, how close she got when they were under the umbrella, how she grabbed his collar and pulled him towards her small frame. Everything was beautiful to him.
She didn't seem fake, she didn't seem like she was playing the game of pretend. She seemed quite different. Taking care of a random stranger, I mean, who does that? Some people do while some just shrug it off.
He tried searching for his book besides him, still laying in the same position. His hands rapidly searching for the book.
He furrowed his eyebrows, he couldn't find it.
Just then, his hand landed on a soft material. Like a blanket with fuzzes all over it. As if someone placed a micro cloud under his large hand.
Then he realized, his hand collapsed on another soft one. It was indeed very feminine.
He quickly opened his eyes, meeting the person he least expected to be there. The girl grinned,
"So, how are you?" A cheeky smile on her face.
His eyes widened at her sight, he pinched his cheek, hoping he was dreaming.
"Kim Taehyung, did you take care?"
