Jisoo's inquisitive gaze landed on Taehyung, who was scribbling down words profusely. Jisoo curiously stared at him, wondering what got him so tensed.
He had beads of sweat roll down his forehead, his sleeve had gotten wet with all the times he swept his face. He muttered inaudible words occasionally.
Jisoo got up from Taehyung's bed and grabbed the nearest handkerchief. She walked towards him, her hand reaching towards his chin as she raised it. Taehyung's breath was caught in his throat as he looked at Jisoo.
Jisoo ignored his tempting gaze and placed the handkerchief on the sides of his face. She dabbed the cloth on various parts of his face. He looked at Jisoo with a loving gaze, which Jisoo, unfortunately noticed. A small blush crept on to her face.
"I'm fine, Chu." He grabbed her wrist and smiled ever so sweetly at her.
She shook her head, "You're tensed."
Taehyung sighed, "I've gotta get this shit done before the evening, damn Jungkook and his procrastinating ass."
Jisoo laughed before it hit her, "Wait, did Jungkook tell you to do this?" She raised a brow.
He nodded.
Jisoo was burning in flames by now, "The hell did he do that to you for? We're having a conversation on how to handle his cocky ass later, Taehyung."
Taehyung let go off her wrist and grinned, "It was a so called partner assignment, that ditcher left me all alone for God knows what reason," he sighed as he sank in his chair.
Jisoo noticed the stressed look on his face, clearing her throat, she leaned forwards to his table. "What's the assignment?" Her eyes hovered above the sheets.
Taehyung didn't say anything and remained silent. Being full aware of how Jisoo was gonna react.
Jisoo's orbs widened as she read the title out loud, "Mental illness."
She took the paper in her hand and unconsciously drew circles with her fingertips. Her lips were being chewed on by her teeth. "Why?" She rasped.
Taehyung gulped, his eyes trailing the floor. Jisoo's snarling voice made him nervous, she knew just exactly why Jungkook left Taehyung.
She rubbed her temples, "My brother is a jerk, I'm so sorry." She whispered.
"Jisoo-"
"I'm never gonna let you stay with him." She stated, resolutely.
Taehyung didn't know what to say, what Jungkook did was enough to break him down. He hated how his own best friend made fun of his sickness. He felt his blood boil and he couldn't help but notice just how different the siblings were.
Jisoo might've been a jokester but she never intended to make fun of serious issues. She might've been an optimistic person but she would never take everything lightly.
His heart picked up a fast pace as Jisoo examined the words, his own eyes started to stung with tears.
"I'm so sorry," she whispered.
He stood up from his chair and took steps towards her, "It's okay." He stopped at a safe distance.
Jisoo sniffled, "You're moving in with me until he doesn't apologize for the disgusting stunt he pulled."
Taehyung's eyes widened, "No no-"
Jisoo placed a finger on his lips, "Shut up."
Taehyung didn't exactly know how to feel about the decision. His desires would be blooming if he stayed with Jisoo, in her dorm.
"Are you sure?" He bit his lip.
Jisoo nodded, "Damn sure."
Taehyung smiled, his face leaned forward towards Jisoo as he wrapped his arms around her fragile frame. She hesitated to wrap her arms around him as well.
"Let's start packing, Tae." She muttered in his ear.
He pulled back and nodded, "Okay."
Jisoo stayed by the side of his bed as she watched him pack just the amount of clothes he would need. After their deep talk on the trip, it felt as if they've gotten extremely closer. They would be together the whole day long, with of course, the other two members as well.
Today was an exception, Jungkook told Jisoo that he'd be taking Lisa out for a photoshoot. Jisoo's eyes closed as she felt nothing but disappointment twitch her heart.
How could her own brother to this to Taehyung? Why would he tell Taehyung to write an essay on mental illness on his own when he knew Taehyung was already suffering from that?
"You okay?" Taehyung's voice pierced through the air.
She opened her eyes, "Yeah."
He nodded and continued with the packing, his face had taken on a fresh glint of grace. He must've been happy to move in with Jisoo for a bit. Jisoo might be able to make him recover by knowing his daily routine as well. She only saw him in a small period of his day. Being lost in her thoughts again, her heart broke into a million pieces as she observed a thing.
Just how fast Taehyung's hands moved while writing an essay on his daily fight, as if he had a million thoughts about it.
Hey guys!
This chapter was for those jerks who make fun of people and their struggles. You should never take an illness so lightly.
"I've seen people suffer from worse."
"You don't even have any worries."
"Why can't you just let it go? It's not that hard."
"Stop being dramatic."
If you say stuff like this to a depressed person, your mom's a hoe.
