Jisoo wasn't sure how or when it had took place but Taehyung swinged his fist at the guy, who had blood dripping down his mouth. Taehyung was beyond furious, mad, sad, annoyed. You name it.

Jisoo had never seen this side of him before. For all she knew, he wouldn't even have the heart to kill an ant.

But then again, he completely broke her.

She heard all the hushed whispers, some students already had their phones whipped out, shamelessly filming the scene. Jisoo's blood started to boil and she immediately glared at all of them, who simply shrugged.

The guy cursed under his breath before he stumbled his way towards Taehyung, almost hitting him.

Almost.

Before Jisoo had stepped in and took his kick instead.

She winced, her hands reaching towards her leg. She already knew Taehyung was rushing to her side.

"Baby, shit, are you okay?!" He held her face in her hands.

She didn't have the gut or courage to speak anything so she nodded. Taehyung turned around, stopping at a safe distance from the harasser before raising his finger, "Don't ever hit girls, even if they voluntarily come around," he raised a finger.

"And don't come near my girl."

He spat before dragging Jisoo away.

"Tae... I'm fine, really." Jisoo spoke, poking at Taehyung's chest. He was crouched down and doing all he could to ease her pain from her leg, a visible scar was on display.

He sighed, "Why did you do that?" His head still hung low.

"Do what?"

"Defend me. You wouldn't have gotten hurt if I was the one getting hit."

Jisoo's lips formed a thin line before she sighed, "You're saying that as if it would've been easy."

He looked up, "What?"

"You getting hurt. You make it sound like I would've been completely okay with that. I thought you knew better." She smiled down at him.

Thump.

Taehyung turned his head sideways, his heart picked up the usual pace it took when he was with Jisoo. He missed it.

Jisoo's apartment wasn't exactly very bright right now. A night lamp was on so Taehyung could give Jisoo aid for her injury. But he was sure she could still see his cheeks take on a darker shade.

They pretended like they just didn't talk to each other for three months and weren't completely miserable without each other's company. They both knew how much had changed between them and trying to mend it seemed practically impossible right now. Though one thing remained unchanged.

Their love.

None of them openly said it before, but it was all too obvious. It would be childish for thinking otherwise.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Jisoo slid down next to Taehyung, who looked at her with his usual curious eyes.

She sighed, "Talk to me."

"I can't," he whispered, turning his head the other side.

Jisoo grumbled, "Why not?"

"I think I lost all my right to do so."

Jisoo shook her head, her fingertips twirling a strand of her hair, "What makes you think that?"

"Come on Jisoo, you and I both know how much of an asshole I've been for the past three months. I'm surprised you're even talking to me." He replied simply.
