Taehyung eyed the client with increasing annoyance lacing his calm expression, he was obviously not impressed.

"That's it?" He questioned.

The client didn't seem like she got what Taehyung meant, so with over the top enthusiasm, she nodded. Her lips stretched into a seductive smile, her eyelashes batting.

Taehyung did not like that. At all.

"Get out," he growled.

"But-"

He didn't have to tell her twice to leave his office because Jungkook was already in and ready to call security.

Taehyung sighed, his head in his palms.

"I'm losing my mind, this is the fourth time in a row."

Jungkook plopped himself in the chair in front of Taehyung, smirking. His best friend didn't exactly like the reaction.

"The ladies have the hots for you, what can we do?"

"Well they need to know I only have the hots for one girl."

"And that girl is currently alone at home."

Taehyung sighed, "Geez, I know. I wanna wrap up this article but I'm ashamed to say no one's taking it seriously. They're all handing in their numbers instead of ideas."

Taehyung's journalism skills were definitely outstanding with an excellent mixture of realism and the actual portrayal of the events with a slightly curve to the basic details. He left at least all his readers confused and frustrated.

Jisoo had hit him repeatedly once because she couldn't stand a single theory he put out.

"Then leave it for now, you've been exhausting yourself for two years. A little break with your girlfriend won't kill you."

"I guess you're right, I should go home. She's usually passed out on the counter with her hands under her chin."

Jungkook smiled, wiggling his eyebrows.

Taehyung was irked, "Not again." He sighed.

"So? When are you proposing?"

Taehyung took a deep breath, "Tomorrow."

Jungkook whistled, "Damn can't believe my sister will get married to a wimp and have his kids."

Taehyung went red at the thought of having Jisoo's children and starting a family with her. Two years passed but he still felt like he met Jisoo all over again everyday.

Safe to say, he was whipped.

"Tae?"

Jisoo's head popped up from around the corner of their living room, her eyes slightly red from rubbing them, closing on their own accord.

Taehyung's chest warmed at the sight, there wasn't a single day she went to sleep without seeing his face.

He dropped his briefcase on the floor and immediately wrapped his arms around her tiny body, enveloping her fully.

"Hey baby," he whispered into her hair.

He could feel her smile against his chest, her hands making circles on his suit jacket.

"I missed you."

"I missed you more, let's get you to bed."

Jisoo pulled away from his embrace, "Did you eat?"

Taehyung shook his head, "Nah, not in the mood."

Jisoo glared at him before capturing his earlobe in her fingers and dragging him to the kitchen. Taehyung's protests were of no use.

"Kim Taehyung, you need to tell me when you're hungry so that I can make you food. This is a concept you're not aware of." Jisoo angrily muttered.

He sat down on the stool, his face resting on his fist as he watched the love of his life go around and make food for him. He didn't want to trouble her so he spoke up, "You really need to sleep and rest okay? I'm fine."

Jisoo completely ignored him.

"Baby I'm talking to you."

"I'm listening but choosing to ignore you."

"Why?"

Jisoo turned around, Taehyung's meal in her hands as she placed it in front of him. With a small and soft smile playing at the corner of her lips, she shyly spoke, "Because I love you. A lot. More than you know."

Taehyung cocked his head to the side, studying her with intense eyes, "What does that have to do with making me food? I love you by the way."

Jisoo sighed, "I don't mind doing anything for you. I'm ready to put my life on the line if it makes you feel better. These emotions that I feel towards you are so strong, I won't mind even dying for you. I love you so much Taehyung, please get that through your head."

She made her way towards him, slipping her hands around his neck from behind, leaning next to his ear. She whispered, "You're the strongest person I know after my sister's tragic suicide, I still can't register that you tried to kill yourself once. Even if we didn't know each other then, even if we were two completely opposite souls with no contact. Even if we were strangers. I won't lose you to your battles, more importantly you won't lose yourself to your own battle. I love you. I love you. I love you."

Taehyung then realized, it was two years ago that he had met Jisoo.

His memories came rushing back one by one, replacing his troubles and stresses with the blissful thoughts. He then realized, she was there through it all.

She was there when he couldn't even handle himself, she was there when he didn't have anyone, she was there when he was sick, she was there when his parents betrayed him, she was there when he wasn't put together, she was there when he got his first tattoo, she was there when he graduated, she was there when he was fighting his greatest battles, she was there when all he needed was love.

And with his chest overflowing with love for his girl, his tears streaming down nonstop, he got up and turned around to face her.

Fuck tomorrow, I'm making you mine tonight.

He got down on one knee out of the blue and pulled out a purple velvet box. Jisoo stumbled at this, "Wha-"

"Kim Jisoo, will you marry me?"

Jisoo waited a beat.

And then the most beautiful smile softened her shocked expression, nodding, she whispered, "Yes."
