Jisoo uneasily shifted in her seat, her hands holding onto the cup of hot chocolate, that was untouched. Her head was dropped low as she ended up in a daze.
A voice broke her thoughts, "So what do you think?"
Jisoo raised her head to meet Jinyoung's calm and curious eyes. His intentions weren't bad but Jisoo didn't know if she could trust him yet.
"I don't... I don't know," she bit her lip.
Jinyoung sighed, "I know you can't trust me that easily but think about Taehyung here. We're doing this for him."
At the mention of his name, her facial expressions softened and she found herself feeling a wave of euphoria rush over her.
"But what if it doesn't work out? And why are you even willing to help me?"
"I'm a good guy and if it doesn't work out, maybe it's best if you don't stay near him anymore."
"Hey! Excuse you but I don't wanna lose him."
"I know, that's why I'm telling you to accept my offer. It may be a little irrational and might not be the best choice out there but we can still give it a shot, no?"
Jisoo rested her head in the palm of her hands, staring at the mysterious guy in front of her. He lazily looked back, waiting for an answer.
Why even bother?
Jisoo sighed, relaxing in her seat, "Fine. I'll go to prom with you."

"Oh My God, you are such a bitch!" Lisa spoke, her teeth gritting against each other.
Jisoo smirked, "I did it for you."
"But-"
"You like him don't you? And you didn't wanna let me go to prom alone with a creep right? And my brother and best friend will be there to look after me." Jisoo finished with a small, cheesy smile dancing on her lips.
Lisa sighed, "Did Jungkook agree easily?"
Jisoo shook her head, an amused look on her face, "He actually initiated the conversation."
Lisa's jaw dropped hard and she gaped at the woman in front of her, "What the fuck?"
Jisoo nodded, "Now let's go you doofus, we need to get ready."

Jisoo felt her jaw dropping in insecurity as she started at herself in the mirror. She never really cared about how her looks had come off but the dress she was wearing was definitely something she never imagined to be clad in.Her back was completely exposed, her curvy figure was highlighted. It was off-shoulder as well, her collarbones were sticking out. Her neck was completely exposed.
"What the heck, Jinyoung? Is this even appropriate enough? I should've gotten my own dress," she finished with a frustrated groan as she glared at the smiling male on her right.
Jinyoung chuckled, "Yes, it's appropriate. I'm pretty sure other girls are gonna be wearing something much more revealing than this. This is literally a child's game for them and besides," he sighed, "You wouldn't be able to do what you have to do if you didn't look hot-"
"Hey!"
"What?"
"Don't call me that."
"But you are hot though."
She flinched, remembering how embarrassed Jinyoung would've been when she rejected him. He probably isn't over his feelings. Guilt trickled down her spine.
