Ten years have passed since the loss of three family members. Am woke up after from a dream she had. It turned out to be a nice dream. She got out of bed and slowly opened Mya's bedroom door. The 10 year old cat girl was still asleep.

"Mya, wake up," Am said softly.

Mya shifted and turned. Am knows how to be patient with her little sister.

"Mya, come on..." she said again, tapping her foot.

Mya opened her brown eyes part way.

"Am, can you give me at least five more minutes?" she asked with a yawn.

Am sighed.

"I wish I could," she answered, "but it's time to get up now."

She got out of the way while her little sister gets up to make her bed.

"You're right, Am," Mya added.

"I'm always right," Am nodded.

She let Mya get dressed when Am got to her room to get dressed herself. Soon the two girls went downstairs to see what was cooking. Erica was making breakfast. Mya's mouth watered as she sat down, but Am told her it's not lady like to let drool out of her mouth like that.

"Took you two a while to wake up," Erica said as she set the food on the table.

"I know," Am sighed.

Mya was a little confused at first why Am was a little depressed. Erica told her what happened ten years ago when Mya was still a baby. Mya felt bad and wants to look after Am as she promised.

"I want to explore when I'm done eating," Am added.

"Don't wonder off too far, Am," Erica said, being more like her mother.

"I won't, since I will stay close to the house," Am replied.

Mya wondered how Erica adapted to be more mature than Am. She watched Am walk out the door and had a bad feeling about what will happen. She went upstairs with a worried look in her eyes. Mya watched from the upstairs window as Am began to explore. She hope that her sister won't get into any danger. Am looked behind her.

'What is she doing?' Mya thought.

Am starting walking straight up and Mya knew what direction she was looking. There was a small base in a clearing on the other side of the forest. Mya saw an orange puma stalking in Am's direction.

"Am, look out!" Mya called out.

Am didn't hear her. The window was closed. Mya unlocked it and burst it open to call out her warning again.

"AM, LOOK OUT!" Mya called out again.

This time, Am responded to Mya's warning, but didn't move in time. The puma pounced on Am. Mya dashed downstairs to get Erica for help. Erica and Mya came to Am's aid.

"Leave her alone!" Mya hissed as she jumped in front of the orange puma and scratched his muzzle.

The puma roared in pain and backed away. Erica remembered Glenda's training and used ember, leaving blisters on the orange puma's front left leg. The puma roared in pain again, trying to put out the flames.

"Maybe that will teach you!" Erica growled.

"Get lost and never come back!" Mya spat.

The puma gave them one last glare with its amber eyes and flees with its tail between its legs. Am was knocked out by the bump on her head. Erica and Mya heard the grass rustling from the right.

"That's quite a battle you two pulled there," a voice called.

"Who said that?" Mya asked.

Three figures emerged from the right corner of the thicket of the bush. An Umbreon girl wearing a red shirt, a Glaceon girl with a cyan shirt and a Jolteon girl wearing a yellow shirt.

"Who are you?" Erica asked.

"My name is Linda," the Umbreon girl answered, "This is my half sister Cleo and my sister Angela."

Linda looked a year older than Erica and Angela looked a year older than Am, and much older than Mya. Cleo is about Am's age.

"Your friend needs some help there..." Angela added.

"That's our sister laying there," Mya explained.

"Your sister? What is she doing laying there on the ground like that?" Linda asked.

"A cougar must of tossed her in the air and knocked her out cold..." Erica answered.

"Hey, we haven't heard your names yet," Cleo snipped.

Linda gave her half sister a stern look.

"Cleo, don't be rude!" she added.

Then Linda turned to the three sisters again.

"What are your names, ladies?" she asked.

Erica faced her.

"My name is Erica," she answered, "The cat girl is my little sister, Mya."

"Hi." Mya purred, "The Pichu girl lying on the ground is our other sister Am. Can one of you help her? She must of got hurt by that cougar."

Angela got a little confused at first, but nodded.

"Sure. We'll take her with us to our base," she answered.

"You have a base?" Mya asked.

"Yeah, we're right near it, kitty," Cleo answered rudely.

Mya growled at Cleo and Erica also growled at her.

"Watch your tone," she snipped.

"Cleo!" snapped Linda.

Cleo gasped at her half sister's stern glare. Then Linda faced Erica once more.

"Forgive Cleo's rude behavior," she said kindly, "I will let you stay at the base as long as you like to."

Erica took a short thought about the offer.

"Gee. I don't know," she added, "We all ready have a place not far from here and we're all ready settled in..."

Linda nodded respectfully.

"That's okay. We'll give you time to think about it," she replied, "Come on, girls. Let's give those three time to think."

Angela and Cleo both nodded.

"Okay," Angela added.

"Who cares, now we don't have to care for that Pichu runt," Cleo mumbled when they left.

"I heard that!" Mya spat.

"Cleo, that's enough!" shouted Linda.

Soon the three girls vanished and Mya was a little disappointed.

"Erica, Am wanted to see that base for a while, and you blew it..." she said.

Erica crossed her arms and shook her head.

"We need time to think about that offer," she replied, "Right now we need to get Am inside the house for now. I'll carry her."
