Mya went out for a walk after a while, thinking what Erica told her. She saw a pair of eyes watching her. Mya slowly approached where the glowing was coming from. She heard growling as she came closer to the glowing eyes. It was a boy, who is on the ground, injured from a fall. He didn't hiss, because he didn't know how, but growled. Mya took a step back in alarm. She didn't want to hurt him or anything. The boy had Glemeow ears and tail, plus he was wearing a vest, a hat and bracelets on each wrist. He looked like he's about Mya's age. Mya took a step closer slowly. The boy growled again, his Glemeow tail swished.

"Calm down," Mya said, "I'm here to help you."

"Why?" the boy asked, "so you can attack me? As if!"

"Fine, lay there and suffer!" Mya hissed.

"Hey, wait!" the boy cried, "You can hiss, can't you? I never learned it myself. I was ambushed by an orange puma on the way back to my base..."

"Why didn't you tell me this before?" Mya asked, "And yes, I do know how to hiss. I can teach you if you let me help you."

"Thanks..."

The boy got up to his legs.

"My name is Gar by the way. I'm from the Shadow Hunter Base."

"My name is Mya," Mya purred.

The orange puma appeared and roared.

"So, we meet again." Mya growled, "You never learn, don't you?"

Mya hissed at the puma and it backed away a little. It was eyeing on Gar and came right at him. Gar payed close attention what Mya did and copied what Mya did, but that scared the puma even more and it ran off.

"I did it!" Gar gasped, "Thanks, Mya. I owe you one!"

Mya looked a little surprised herself.

"That's the one I had to struggle with before," she said.

"That might of explained all those scars," Gar added.

"Stubborn brats!"

Mya and Gar stared at the orange puma from a distance.

"Did the puma just talk?" Mya asked.

"Yes, and I'll get you two for this!" the puma roared, "Mark my words!"

"Oh yeah?" Gar taunted, "We'll be waiting for you, fur-face!"

The puma ran off grumbling to himself.

"I better get going," Gar said to Mya, "I'll see you again sometime. I better get home to my brothers."

Then he took off in a flash. Mya wanted to asked him, but didn't bother and turned to the direction she came from back to the base. She found her way back and it was getting dark. It was a long day and it was the first day too.

Erica saw Mya walking in with an amused look on her face. She can tell she met someone, again.

"Well, you're in a good mood, Mya," she said, walking up to her little sister.

Mya looked at Ivy, then hissed at her.

"What in the Star Mews' name is she doing here?" she spat.

"Whoa!" Erica gasped, "Let's not judge her too quickly, Mya. She switched sides and decided to join us. I don't think she's a threat. She changed."

Mya wasn't sure about it yet and still Erica has to convince her. She hope that Mya would warm up to the Leafeon girl.

"I heard what happened," Ivy said, "and I want to say I am sorry for the loss of your parents. I know how that felt."

Erica sighed.

"Mya didn't remember it much," she replied, "but she was a baby when that happened. I remember it well and Am took it very hard. I'm wondering how you got that awful scar?"

"A puma clawed my eye out," Ivy answered, "My eye socket remained shut ever since that happened. I decided to let it heal that way and hidden under my hair."

Erica called Mya over to come closer, but Mya refused and stayed where she was. Erica would guess that it will take time for her to get use to Ivy. She didn't argue. Night time was starting to come fast.

Am went outside for a walk for a little bit. She seem to wonder a little further this time. She looked further ahead and found Mya's footprints. They were faint and Am followed them a little until she saw another set of footprints. Mya's footprints turned around back to the base but Am was curious about the other set of footprints. She wasn't sure if it was another girl or a rouge. She then saw a pair of glowing amber eyes from the shadows.

"He came this way..."

Am gulped and hid in a blueberry bush. As she watched from her hiding place, she saw a boy her age. He had a gray shirt on. Dark dirty-blond hair. He had Pikachu ears and a male Pikachu tail. His eyes are hazel. He looked like he's around her age. The boy traced the footprints, then Mya's. Am shivered, hoping the boy wouldn't go after her little sister.

"Someone else was here..." he said, "but who? If those girls are nice as Percy said they are, I bet one of them met Gar..."

'Who's this 'Gar?'' Am thought, listening in the boy's words.

She moved her left Pichu ear to listen better, but didn't mean to move one of the branches of the bush. That got the boy's attention.

"Who's there?" he asked.

Am gasped.

She scooted back to keep out of sight, but the boy all ready noticed her blue eyes in the blueberry bush. He came closer and pushed the bushes away to take a closer look at Am's face.

"I won't hurt you," he said calmly, "My name is Otto. Let me give you a hand."

Otto lend out his hand and got Am out of her hiding place. Am noticed the blueberry stains just now on her shirt.

"I'm Am," she said, "and I was following a set of my little sister's footprints."

"Well, I was following my little brother's footprints," Otto replied, "Didn't know they led to here. What are you doing here so late at night?"

"I told you, I was following my little sister's footprints in the dirt," Am answered, "Then I saw some eyes glowing, amber eyes. It was an orange puma."

"Orange puma?" Otto echoed, "That's the one I saw earlier tonight. We chased it out of our territory."

"You thought you got rid of me? Think again!"

That orange puma that spoke to Mya and Gar earlier was back, again...

"You again!" Am scowled, "And since when do you talk?"

"Oh, the naïve girl who is always curious," the puma grinned.

"Just who are you?" Otto demanded.

"Name's Taru," The puma roared, "I'm here to claim this territory. You Daylight gals and you Shadow guys are always getting in the way! Those younger weaklings weren't worth my time earlier..."

'Wait a minute! He's talking about Mya!' Am thought in alarm.

"Leave Mya out of this!" Am yelled, sparking up.

"Leave Gar out of this too!" shouted Otto, also sparking up.

Taru perked up his ears.

"You didn't have the courage earlier when you faced me the first time," he said to Am.

Am didn't respond, but her rage was building up.

'No one taunts my little sister like that!' she thought.

When Taru took a step forward, Otto launched himself with Volt Tackle. Am was amazed at his attack. She came into the attack too. Taru tried to attack them, but with his weight, Otto kept him pinned down to the ground. Am looked at Taru in the eyes.

"Leave now and never come back," she sneered.

"Fine..." Taru growled, "You win... I'll find new territory, away from you pests, but this feud isn't over."
