Am sighed when Tammy tended to her cut. Mya entered the room to check on her. Erica marched up to her with a worried look in her green eyes.
"Mya, why did you wonder off like that?" she asked.
"I wanted to see if Am's attacker was gone," Mya answered, "but I kind of ran into two other girls on the way."
"What did they look like?" Am asked.
"One was younger than me," Mya added, "and the other was bigger and was about Tammy's age!"
"You have to describe them better than that," Erica replied.
Mya felt a growl in her throat, ready to be heard.
"I didn't expect to be ambushed by a younger girl!" she hissed.
"That's enough, Mya!" Am snapped, "If you can't behave when Tammy is here, you can go back to the base and calm down. I'll go see and look for those two."
Mya snorted and stomped her feet back to the base. Erica saw Mya's tail swishing with anger as she left.
"I don't know what her problem is..." Tammy sighed.
Am left the hut and looked around not that her cut is healed. She saw the Vaporeon mew mew standing around.
"Hey," she called.
A Skitty girl growled at her.
"Abby, remembered last time you did that?" the older girl sneered.
"You must be those girls Mya met," Am pointed out.
"You know Mya?" the Vaporeon asked.
"She's my little sister," Am replied, "My name is Am."
"I'm Lora and this here is my little sister Abby."
Am looked at Lora.
"How old are you?" she asked.
"Well I'm 17 and Abby is 8," Lora answered.
"You're the same age as my older sister!" Am gasped.
"I wouldn't be surprised..."
It was Erica's voice. She saw Lora and Abby talking with Am when she approached them.
Mya took the time to cool off and Angela had to sit by her to talk things through with her.
"I get angry sometimes too," she said, "Even I have with Cleo."
Mya saw Abby and Lora enter the base and Abby greeted her. Am and Erica were with Lora. Linda came up to them and welcomed Lora inside.
"More of them?" Cleo asked, "You have got to be kidding me. How will we provide enough rooms for all of them?"
Mya hissed at her.
"Back off, Cleo!" she spat.
"Hey, I don't need anymore of-"
Mya cut Cleo off when she scratched her on her left cheek. Everyone gasped in disbelief.
"Ow! That hurt!" Cleo gasped.
"Mya!" Am and Erica yelled in unison.
Mya gasped and stared in horror at her older siblings. Angela got some cotton and padded on Cleo's scratch.
"What were you thinking?" Am scolded, "I think you need to cool off and go to your room if you continue to lash out your claws at everyone. I won't let you hurt anyone else!"
"I've had it with that foul attitude, Mya!" Erica growled, "You better think about what you have done. We raised you better than that."
Mya hung her head low in shame as she went upstairs.
"She did kind of deserve that..." Angela sighed.
"Yes and no," Am sighed, "Yes, for her rudeness, and no for setting Mya off. I don't know what's gotten into her, but she'll spend the rest of the day in her room, thinking of what she did."
Mya was in her room already thinking. She hope to get her temper under control and did feel bad for scratching Cleo. There was a knock on her door.
"Okay, I'm just a snotty girl that deserved to be scratched by the likes of you..." It was Cleo's voice, "but you left your half eaten snack. I'll leave it on the nightstand next to your door and leave you alone."
Mya opened her door and took it in.
"Wait," she called, "I thought Linda told you to-"
"I wanted to say I'm sorry of the way I've been treating you and your sisters," Cleo admitted, "I didn't mean to be a jerk to you. I come in peace, I promise."
Mya wasn't sure.
"Angela was right..." Cleo sighed, coming closer to Mya's doorway, "I judge others too quickly. I should of been more friendly to you."
Mya wasn't able to believe her or not.
"I hardly know you," she said, "I'm sorry I scratched you."
"I did deserve it, on how I treated you..." Cleo replied, "I feel bad about it after a while during your stay at our base. It wasn't that deep, no worries. So if Angela trusts you, so can I."
Mya blinked.
"I am so sorry for being such a jerk..." Cleo sighed, "and I beg for your forgiveness..."
Mya hope that Cleo wasn't lying, but telling from her tone she wasn't.
"I forgive you," she said at last.
"Thank you," Cleo barked in relief.
Am wondered where Cleo went. She thought about her father before he died, how kind he was.
"Am?"
Angela was poking her.
"What?" Am asked.
"You were looking outside like you miss someone..." Angela added.
"I'm thinking about my father," Am admitted.
Angela remembered how Erica explained how she, Am and Mya lost both their parents.
"I'm sorry for your loss," she said.
"You don't have to be," Am replied, "It happened ten years ago."
"I know how you feel," Angela added, "Losing someone very dear to you. I lost my parents too, but at least Linda and Cleo are still here..."
Am decided to let Angela be her friend. She started to cry softly. Angela hugged her to comfort her. Then there was a knock on the door. There was an Leafeon girl.
"It's her!" Am growled, "The one who attacked me!"
Erica and Linda both leered at her with pure hatred in their eyes.
"Wait, you got me all wrong!" the girl cried.
"Likely story, Ivy," Am sneered, "I'd never forget that you attacked me."
"What the heck is going on down there?" Cleo asked, coming downstairs.
"Wait! Stop!" Ivy cried, "I switched sides! I'm not going to attack you anymore. Please spare my life."
"Normally I prohibit killing inside the base," Linda growled, "but why are you here?"
"I see how you thrive here," Ivy replied, "I grew tired of living by myself..."
"Linda, are we going to let this... this tyrant stay here?!" Am gasped, "Erica knows what she did to me!"
The others looked puzzled, but Am wasn't sure if she could trust Ivy.
