Hi everyone. It's been YEARS since I've last logged into this account and of course a lot has happened over the years. While I'm very grateful that Fallen Angel is still receiving a lot of attention please be mindful of what you say in the comments. I might not be active on this account, but I still receive notifications of when someone has voted or left a comment. I understand that the story might not make a tad bit of sense and believe me I've noticed. From time to time I read this story all over again and I CRINGE at a lot of things lol. But I was 15-16 years old when I wrote this book and I believe this was the first book I've ever wrote and published on here. I'm 22 years old now and obviously I've grown up from the mindset that I was in when I was a teenager lol. Just keep that in mind please and thank you. Much love! <3

ELLA

Another school year will soon begin in five minutes.

I stood at my locker, stuffing my backpack into it, as I heard whispers all around me.

I looked around and that's when I saw him.

He's the most handsome boy I've ever seen. I never seen him before so he must have moved this summer or something.

I couldn't take my eyes off of him as he walked down the hall. He didn't seem the slightest bit bothered with people staring at him and whispering around him. He just kept walking.

He was wearing black jeans, a black tank top and black sneakers. His hair was a beautiful, shiny jet black color and his jawline was perfect. His eyes was a really dark brown color and his arms were muscular.

Typical bad boy.

But I never judge a book by its cover.

I can't seem to take my eyes off of him as he came closer to me. He was just simply too gorgeous. He had me completely amazed by his looks. He already had girls following him around and looking at him, giggling and whispering to their friends, giving him flirty winks.

Then, for some reason, he stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. He looked around for a while and his head stopped in my direction. His eyes met and locked on mines.

My breath hitched. I bit my lip, quickly looking down in embarrassment. I felt my cheeks heat up.

Suddenly, I saw a pair of black sneakers in front of me.

Oh God, it's him.

I bit my lip harder, trying to make a decision of whether to look up or keep looking down in hope of him to just go away. I heard him clear his throat and that finally made me look up at him.

He was a lot taller than I was and he was muscular. I know I said it before but now that he was closer, his muscles were even more noticeable. He had a smug smirk on his face and he looked down at me, never taking his eyes off mines.

"Checking me out, huh?" He asked, clearly amused. I felt my cheeks heat up. Great, I probably look like a tomato right now.

I bit my lip, thinking of what to say in response without sounding like a total idiot.

"U-Uh...I wasn't?" I said, trying my best to sound confident but it came out more as a question. He chuckled, stepping a bit closer to me, the smirk never leaving his face.

Okay, now I'm confused.

Who is he?

That's what I wanted to know more than anything. I'm curious about him. He seems different from everyone else in this school. That's why he interests me so much.

"Sure you weren't." He winked, chuckling at his words. I blushed an even deeper red. I tried my best to hide my nervousness but I obviously failed at that, since he just shook his head in amusement.

"I wasn't checking you out," I spoke, a bit more confident this time. I still wasn't sure about that though and he took that as his advantage.

He chuckled and suddenly I felt my back pushed against the locker. His hands were by both sides of my head, keeping me from moving away. He leaned over, his lips brushing against my earlobe as he whispered in a husky voice.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Angel. I know you were checking me out." His voice sent shivers down my back. It was kind of scary, it had a cold tone in it. He didn't scare me though, just made me nervous. I mean, he's just a normal kid, what bad could he do?

Suddenly he chuckled and looked at me. He looked even more amused than a few minutes ago for some reason. He just looked at me for a while, not saying anything. That whole time I could hear whispers from around us and he had that smug smirk on his face. As much as he made me nervous and maybe the tiniest bit scared. He was damn sexy.

Then he spoke, his voice low and raspy. It was different from a while  ago. It was a bit more cold but gentle. If that even makes sense.

"Oh trust me, Angel. I'm no normal kid." And with that, he walked away, leaving me there totally dumbfounded.

What just happened?

It was like he read my thoughts, but that wouldn't be possible, would it? I mean, no one could read other people's thoughts. That's impossible.

And despite that, it seemed like that's what he just did.

I shook my head to clear it just when the bell rang. Great, another year of school just started. Sarcasm intended.

I walked to class. My first class was Calculus and I had none of my friends there. Other than that, we had all classes together. I sighed as I reached the classroom.

I walked inside and slumped down into a seat in the very back. The seat beside me remained empty as the class was soon full of students.

Just then, the teacher, Mr.Bell, walked in. He cleared his throat.

"Alright, students, I have someone to introduce to you. He's a new student here." He pointed to the door and in walked the person he was talking about. But as I saw who it was, my heart stopped.

It was the guy from earlier. He looked around and his eyes landed on mines and he stared at me. His stare made me uncomfortable, sending shivers down my back.

Mr.Bell told him to introduce himself, and he stepped aside, leaving the guy standing there alone.

He didn't seem nervous at all though. He just stood there, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips as he spoke.

"I'm Christian. Christian Hale."
