I found myself staring over at Stephen. Thinking, that this wasn't such a good idea, and let him take me home tonight.
Don't get me wrong, he's an attractive man. I just thought to sleep with him wasn't such a good idea.
Even though my body craved him, for heaven's sake, this man irritated the hell out of me.What were the chances, Stephen would've been here at Silver's tonight?
We were walking towards the parking lot to pick up his car, and I could tell by my graceful walk, stumbling on my own two feet, that I shouldn't have had those last four drinks tonight.
One drink my ass! I was stepping off the curve to the sidewalk when one of my heels snagged on the edge of the concrete.
The next thing I knew, my ass was sitting on the cold hard concrete with my legs up high in the sky. 'Thank God,' I was wearing Boy short's.
Dammit, that Hurt! I was feeling mortified apparently, Stephen found It quite funny too because all I could hear was his deep laughter in front of me.
"HAhahahahahahah!Oh my, Grace, that was funny!"
What? Are you freaking kidding me? I just fell, and he's standing there laughing his ass off at me. What kind of guy does that?
"Grace. Here, let me give you a hand."
I just looked at him, like he had grown a Unicorn Horn nestled between his eyes.
He leaned down to give me his hand, but I slap it away.
"NO, thank you, I don't need your help. I get up by myself!"
Well, this wasn't a pretty sight. Me trying to get up from the ground, with all the alcohol I had just consumed within the last hour.
I must have looked like Sydney's fat cat. after a cat food binge.I didn't care how ridicules I looked, I'll be my damned if I let that man help me. I still had my pride left in me, I didn't need him.
Call me stubborn, then so it is."You've blown your chances with me tonight, you're not getting any of this, Buckaroo!" I whispered.
When I finally peel, off of the ground back up on to my own two feet. Not gracefully I might add. My voice slurred out to him, "Stephen look!"
My body swayed back and forth a bit. "Maybe this isn't such a good idea, I'm just going to call a cab to take me home."
"Grace I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you. Just let me drive you home, It's the least I can do. I promise you I'll be a complete gentleman.
Grace look at yourself right now, you can't even stand up straight. I think you've had way too much to drink tonight!"
I just stared at Stephen and thought for a moment to myself. I was sore, tired and it would probably take a cab forever to get here at two in the morning.
I definitely didn't like the thought of sleeping in a cardboard box behind the club tonight. Yeah, that didn't sound too appealing at all.
"Sure... Why the hell not." I said, after all, he did have a point. We walked up to a Red Aston Martin Vanquish S, " She's a Beauty, Isn't she Grace?"
Are you freaking kidding me? I just looked at Stephen and gave him a snarky little smile as he unlocked the car door for me. I opened the door and was about to get inside the car when he said.
" Grace, the leather seats can get quite cold sometimes, here let me turn on the heated seats for you."
In a whisper, I mocked him back. "Hear, let me turn on the heated seats for you, and look what I drive, a pretty little red Aston Martin."
