💀Lost Love☠

I hid-out in the bathroom for almost an hour, after Kane had left me alone in the foyer, and I had made sure I'd made good use of my time, while in here.

I waxed and plucked any unwanted hair on my body. I just started to polish my fingernails when Kane let himself into the bathroom.

He casually walks over towards the vanity sink, and leans himself against it, crossing his arms against his chest then stares over at me. I try to ignore the unwonted presence in the room with me, by keeping my full attention on polishing my nails.
  

This went on for about ten minutes before he uttered a single word to me."I see you've been busy Grace!"

"Yes,  I've been very busy Kane!" I replied as He walks away from the vanity, crouching down beside me and spoke."You can't keep avoiding me like this Grace."

I looked up and meet his gaze before I reply back to his statement."Kane, I just don't understand any of this! Why? Why me? What makes me so damn special?"

" What does it matter Grace, I claimed you!"

That statement made me feel like a cat being drenched in hot oil."Well, you know what? It sure in the hell matter to me! You threaten me, take me away from my life, and you expect me to bend over backward and kiss your feet. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, Kane, I'll never gravel, to you, or any man!"

I couldn't even stand the sight of him, let alone being in the same room with him, my breathing unsteady, shaking from the adrenaline rush my body felt. His hand came up to my face and cups my cheek while he held my gaze.

"Grace you remind me so much of her at times, I forget that you're not. Your resembles hers It's uncanny, your light hair, to your beautiful green eyes, the conviction that you hold for others before yourself. The first time I laid eyes on you, I knew, I had to make you mine.

 " Because I look like this woman Kane, you destroyed my life?" I spit back like a viper.

  
" I didn't destroy your life Grace, when the time comes I will you a new life!"

   
" Kane, I don't want a new life! I want to live this life, the one I have now!"
  
Kane's face morphed from compassionate to anger within secants, like he was fixing to eat me. He looked pissed off now, both his hands came up my face and grip me tightly.

  
"You Belong to Me now Grace! You will always Belong too Me! Do you understand Me? Grace, I had to let her go and watch her marry someone else.

I prayed every single day that she would come back to me, but she never did, and I lost her. I will Never lose you Grace!" The monster side of him spoke out.  

I didn't know what to say back to Kane, scared out of my gored now, I just stayed silent not to set him off even further, as Kane drops his hands from my face and stood up from me, then walked ferociously out of the bathroom.

I sat there at the small makeup vanity and I thought, now you've really gone and pissed him off, I was screwed big-time, all because I looked like this woman Kane you once loved?

I needed to speak to Stephen, and see if he knew, or could find out any history on Kane, and what I was really up against here, the more I could educate myself on Kane, the better off I'd be.

But how in the world, would I get away from Kane long enough to see Stephen? I started to whisper out his name,  just hoping, that he could hear me. "Stephen please come to me, I need your  help."

I quietly made my way back into the bedroom, but Kane had already turned off the lights. I was trying to find the bed, blindly in the darkness,  when my toe came into contacted with the edge of it, stunting my toe. My body falls forward, landing on top of Kane's hard body. "Awe! Damn't too Hell! Mother...! I think I broke my freaking toe!"
