Stephen and I had worked on decorating the Christmas tree all day. When we had finally finished up with the tree, Stephen made us a pallet on the floor next to the fireplace. The warmth of the fire felt soothing to my skin, this house was a bit cooler then what I was used to.

I saw Stephen walking out of the kitchen holding a coffee cup in his hand with the Biggest smile plastered on his face. Stephen looks so Happy right now I thought. When He sat down next to me he handed me the cup. "I thought that you would like some Hot Coco Grace."

"Thank you, Stephen, that was very sweet of you, it's been a long time since I've enjoyed a cup of Hot Cocoa, Stephen I Had a really nice time today."
" I did too Grace, It's been along time since I decorated a Christmas tree, the last time I did, It looked nothing like that tree does."

"Stephen...Can I ask you something?"

"Yes Grace."

"Before you were Changed into a Vampire, was you ever Married?"

" No, I was Married to my Ship, the Grace Ann. No well-brought-up lady In that time would've married a Man like me Grace. What about you, how come some man hasn't married you yet?"

" Well first, know one has ever asked me before Stephen.Maybe If I would have dated more, some man would've asked me. I guess I was always too busy working, who Know's Stephen maybe you and I were suppose to meet each-other, and this is our fate.

Stephen just sat there quietly while I continued on to talk."Can I ask you something crazy Stephen?"

"Sure, Grace!"

" Do You really like my hair? Because every time I walk by a mirror, It kind of freaks me out a little bit." I looked down at a little strand of hair that I had between my fingertips.

"Grace, I think you look beautiful and yes, I like you very much as a Burnett." I looked over at him giving him a smile, "Thank you Stephen, you know the first time I saw you in Leon's office, I thought you were one of the most handsomest men I'd ever seen before.

I never had such thoughts about a man, that is until that night I first met you." Stephen began to move in closer to me. I didn't know why I started to feel so shy around him at this particular moment, maybe it's because we had such a nice time together today, or maybe it was the way he was looking at me right now. "What kind of thoughts Grace?" He whispers.

"Stephen, a lady is never spouses to tell such thought's out loud to a Gentlemen." She said to him In a very proper voice." My apologies Lady Grace, please continue on."

" Alright....I always felt safe in my dreams with you, I know I sound really silly."

"Grace you don't sound silly at all. Grace...What would you say, if I told you that I wanted to kiss you right now." Stephen's hand came up next to my cheek and I started to lean in closer to his touch as we Gazed into each other eye's. "Stephen...I would tell you...To kiss me."

When Stephen's lips met mine he kissed me so tenderly, this kiss felt so much different then the other kisses that we had shared together before, this kiss was slow and sweet. Stephen's lips soon left mine then I heard his deep sexy voice. " I'm Stephen James...It's very nice to meet you, Miss Weiss." I just smiled up at him, before I had a chance to say another word to him, his lips came back to mine and kissed me again.
