I sit up in the bed, out of Stephen's embrace. " Stephen...When I do take your blood, how long will I human, before I change, into a Vampire?"

"It doesn't happen right away It could be days, sometimes even a week for the change to happen Grace."

"Does the transformation hurt?"

"No, It doesn't hurt, as you go through the transformation, but you will have to consume a small portion of my blood every day till the change is completed.
  

My blood will act as a sedative as it takes over your blood cells in your body, your body won't even be aware that the transformation is occurring.

At first, you'll feel no different then you do now, but as the days or weeks continue on, you will start to feel very tired, you'll just simply fall asleep, and when you wake."

"I would be a Vampire?"

"Yes, a Vampire."

It was quiet between us for a moment, before I continued to speak, "Stephen you know I love you, but I'm also scared...I wouldn't know the first thing about being a Vampire!"

Stephen sits up beside me and wraps his arms tightly around my waist laying his chin onto my shoulder,"Grace, you don't have to make this decision tonight, we still have time, and when you're ready, I'll be here for you Grace, too help teach you everything you need to know, loving you every step of the way." He mummers, as kissed my shoulder.

I sat there for a moment, processing the words Stephen just said to me. After everything that's happened between us, Stephen still wanted to be with me, and he wasn't going to force me to take this step, leaving my own fate in my hands.

I turn to face Stephen, gazing into deep into his Ocean blue eyes, placing my hand up to his cheek before spoke, "Stephen, spending the last two weeks in this house with you, has made me the happiest I've ever been.

I've learned throughout the weeks, that you're strong, unselfish, and you would protect me, keep me safe at any cost. I didn't think I could ever love someone as much as I love you right now Stephen. 

Thank you, for letting me make my own choices, and I love you so much for that. Stephen James, and I would be honored to be your wife and to be called Mrs.Stephen James." As the tear began to fall down her cheeks.

Stephen's hand came over to mine, binding them together, he brought his lips just above mine before he gently came down and grazed them a crossed mine, whispering in his Baritone voice.

"You have made me the happiest being on this planet tonight Grace, I promise you, will love you now and always!"

"Stephen please...stop teasing me with your lips, and just kiss me already!"

"Your wish is my command, Grace." Then Stephen kissed me, passionately with his moist, seductive lips.

In a dark damp alleyway across from Grace's store, Kane stood there in the shadow's waiting on his next victim. The streets were barren this evening' Damn Holidays,' he thought.

As Kane listened to the sounds of the streets, he began to hear footsteps walking briskly down the pavement.

As the footsteps came closer toward the alleyway, he saw the pretty young blond taking in her surroundings of the desalinate streets. 'God, this is almost too easy,'  as he heard her heartbeat speed-up in her chest.

Kane stepped out of the alleyway, onto the sidewalk almost knocking down the young woman in the possess. In a breathes voice he asks her."Excuses me, Miss, do you have the time?"
