Justin's POV

I stood there.

Behind the counter.

Waiting patiently for this long shift to be over.

People came in.

People came out.

Some people bought stuff.

Some people didn't.

I was just ready to get the hell out of here.

Tiffany couldn't help but cross my mind each second.

I can't believe she actually broke up with me.

Or took a break from me that is.

Sherri finally came from the back.

Walking in front of me.

She had a smile on her face.

"Your shifts over" She said while rest her arms on the counter.

I sighed.

"Finally" I whispered as I came from the behind the counter.

Sherri laughed.

Then noticed Tiffany wasn't with me.

"Where's Tiffany?" She asked while she stared at me.

I groaned.

I wish I knew.

"I wouldn't know" I replied.

She looked at me confused.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

I looked down.

My hair covering my face.

"I wouldn't know because...because she broke up with me" I responded.

I heard Sherri gasp.

"No way, just a couple of hours ago you two were laughing, holding hands, being all lovey dovey and Tiffany and I were making fun of you, no way she broke up with you" She said.

I laughed.

Then looked back up at her.

"Well now we're not laughing, holding hands and being all lovey dovey and now it's only you who makes fun of me" I replied.

She smiled.

But then her smiled disappeared into a frown.

"Did she tell you why she broke up with you?" Sherri asked.

I thought about it.

She only had broken up with me after seeing Jade.

That must've been what triggered it the most.

"Well there's several things...after Jade came back-"

"Jade?" Sherri interrupted.

"My sort of ex" I answered.

"Ah that's never good but keep going" She demanded.

"Yea so I guess that's what made Tiffany mad the most when Jade came back and she also said I put her through too much" I continued.

Sherri turned her body toward mine.

"Well..." She started.

"You think I put her through too much too, don't you?" I asked.

"A little" She replied.

I sighed.

Resting my body against the counter.
