Who You Truly Are

Tigress was shocked to know that the spirit who held his claw out to her, was her grandfather! She was also shocked that she was related to an Evil. After all those years of fighting off bandits and defeating villains, her grandfather expected her to do the exact opposite right then. 

He said she would get whatever she desired, but the only thing she desired was to NOT be evil. Tigress would forever be loyal to the Valley, her master and father and to her fellow friends and companions. 

She had no idea what her grandfather would do to her if she refused, but she knew in her heart that she was a Good. Just like her parents. Whatever punishment she'd receive, she would take it. She finally said, "No. I'm not evil and you can't change that about me. I'll forever be good."

She didn't flinch when her ancestor growled. "I should have known that arrogant kung fu master would have kept you from your destiny! All that goodness is so...irritating! I was willing to give you a chance! You were my last hope! But you know what?! I don't even care anymore whether you're my granddaughter or not! I'm fighting ya to the death! Get ready!" He laughed evilly as Tigress got into a battle stance. "You had your chance, young one!"  The spirit's voice echoed throughout the palace. "Such disappointment...it's a wonder how anybody still cares for you. I know I certainly don't!" 

With that, he started beating Tigress up by using Tiger Power. She tried avoiding them, but the spirit was more experienced with Tiger Power than she could've imagined. Most of the fire balls hit her hard and made her weak. Her grandfather started yelling at her, but she was too occupied avoiding his shots to listen.

The fire balls kept on coming, along with sharp kicks to the ribs and punches to the head. Tigress tasted blood in her mouth and had blood all across her clothes. Once again, the evil spirit made lightning rods strike on her. All this commotion made the floor collapse to the lower ground, making Tigress lose her balance and strength. She had wounds all over her body and her vision started to blur. All she could do was hide behind pieces of broken floor in one of the collapsed corners and whisper, "Po."

"Yahh!" Po with the rest of the Furious Five managed to bust open the main doors of the palace inside of the cave. They would have stayed there for ages, just staring at this magnificent structure, but they all knew that Tigress needed their help. 

When the doors were open, they all rushed inside and resumed their battle stances. Though, there seemed to be no one inside and they started walking around confused. That is, until they heard the sound crashing and destruction, including someone who was laughing like a maniac. "Over there!" Crane pointed to the staircases that were deeper in the palace. 

Everyone ran to the door at the top and their eyes grew wide at what they saw. The floor that was supposed to be there, had collapsed onto the lower floor and they saw a spirit, no... the spirit that Master Shifu had been talking about.

They stared in horror as they realized the spirit had hurt Tigress so badly that she was hiding behind some of the collapsed floor. Po signaled for them to help her, but everyone was way ahead of him there. The spirit was angered by their sudden presence and he bellowed, "Get out of the way! Can't you see I have a job to get to!" Po faced the spirit angrily, giving the others enough time to get to Tigress.

 Po said to him, "You mean the job that involves killing everyone? Yeah, I think you should find a job that pays you loads better!...Monkey! Crane!" Po called to some of his friends. 

When the three were all together, they started to fight the evil spirit with everything they got. They stopped when they heard someone say, "No." They turned their heads to Tigress who was struggling to get up. Even the spirit stopped to see what was going to happen. Tigress managed to make her way to where the battle was, despite Viper and Mantis trying to bandage her.
