[A/N this was actually the first one that I ever wrote and that was about a year ago so I'm sorry. This was originally a Jerstie story but we all know I'm not going to publish that shit anymore]

Kirstin's P.O.V.

For the tenth time, I looked at my phone to see how late it was.

'7.54 am,' I sighed, 'just one minute and then I'll grab my shoes and coat and go to the Starbucks across the street so I'm there exactly at 8 am and I can grab my daily necessary dose of caffeine before I head off to work.'

Why do I wanna be there at exactly 8 am? Well, first of all, because it works with timing and going to work, but second of all and most importantly because at the same time there's always this guy there probably for the same reason as me and many of my other peer.

But there is something so captivating about him. He's a tall and handsome man, which made him even more mysterious than he already was and he had dark hair and dark eyes, just like I have naturally, but my hair is dyed to a blonder color and my contact lenses made it seem like my eyes were more hazel.

7.55 am, time to get ready to go, so I grabbed my old loose boots and a leather coat. I went out of my apartment into the hallway, making sure everything was locked and then I walked downstairs, exactly as planned and right on time like every day. When I opened the doors to the outside, I breathed in the fresh air and walked down the street to the local Starbucks, hoping the mysterious guy would be there just like every day, except for Sunday. I promise you I'm not stalking him, well maybe a little bit...

I entered the little coffee shop and Jamie, who took the orders every morning, recognized me immediately and greeted me, asking if I want my usual order, which I, of course, agreed on.

Whilst Jamie was preparing my coffee, I headed to my usual spot close to the exit and next to a window. I sat down and my desperate search for the mysterious guy started again, like every other day, which makes this day no different from every other day in my normal, boring life.

Looking around the café I suddenly spotted him. He was sitting a few tables away from me. He was sitting with his back turned to me, wearing a dark coat. He was reading the newspaper, probably waiting for his order just like me.

I got out of my trance of staring at him by Jamie who was yelling for me: 'Kirstin your order's ready!' His words made the mysterious guy turn his head and whilst I walked to Jamie for my order, I felt his eyes on me.

'Okay, so now he probably knows my name. Great, thanks, Jamie.' I thought sarcastically to myself.

I was getting slightly annoyed at his choice of words. 'This is probably the thousandth time I've told you Jamie, but just call me Kirstie.'

'I don't care, I like your full name better and there's a reason on why your parents gave you that name.'

'Sure,' I said as I rolled my eyes,' just take the money.' I laughed and handed him the cash I owed him and he started counting, as always.

'No tip this time?' He chuckled sarcastically.

'You don't deserve a tip!' I laughed and grabbed my coffee.

'By the way' Jamie suddenly spoke with a soft voice, whilst leaning closer to me 'his name is Matthew, but you didn't get that from me, okay?'

I looked at him wide-eyed. He knows?!

'W-what do you mean?' I was trying to sound oblivious to what he said, but I think I failed.

'Oh, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about!' He said and quite loud may I add and I was getting embarrassed, so I tried to shush him.
