Ozpin POV
I am watching the students through my tablet. Glynda walks up to me.
Glynda: The last pair has been formed, sir. Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy... I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos.
Ozpin: Mmmm...
Glynda: I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat. I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?
I stay silent.
Glynda: Professor Ozpin?
I am watching my tablet with a contemplating interest as it shows the footage of Ruby Rose with a group of four.
Ozpin: Seems like Ms.Rose has ditched her partner.
Glynda: Can't say I blame her.
(Y/N) POV
Me and the group arrive at some sort of temple. There's pedestools with chesspieces on them. In the time that we were getting here, Ruby and Isabelle became great friends, which is good as getting treated nicely is rare for her.
Raviera: Chess pieces?
Ruby: I'll have the pony!
She dashes forward and grabs the white knight piece.
(Y/N): Say, since teams are determined by the pieces-
Isabelle: Are you sure?
(Y/N): I am. Just look, there is 4 of each piece.
Raviera: Good asumption. Let me guess, you want us to be a team?
(Y/N): I do.
Amara: I don't see why not. Let's do it!
We all grab a black queen. I hear the voice of Yang in the distance.
Yang: Think this is it?
We look and see that she's with Blake. I wonder how those two will get along. They walk up to the temple, not even noticing us.
Blake: Chess pieces?
Yang: Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the first ones here.
(Y/N): How about you look beside you?
Yang: Oh! Hey (Y/N)! Ruby!
Ruby: Yang!
They hug. She then notices Icabelle.
Yang: AH! SPIDER!
She dashes towards a tree while Isabelle starts to cry. I hug her as she cries on my shoulder.
Blake: Why is she crying?
(Y/N): Let's just say she had way too many people be afraid of her and insult her through her life.
Blake walks up to Isabelle and hugs her from behind.
Blake: I'm so sorry.
Isabelle: I-I-It's f-f-fine! I'm used to t-t-those kind of words...
Blake: You really shouldn't be.
I grow pissed and shoot an energy beam at the tree Yang is hiding behind. She dodges.
Yang: What the hell man?!?
(Y/N): I CAN SAY THE SAME TO YOU FOR INSULTING MY BEST FRIEND!!!
Yang: W-What?
She then sees Icabelle crying as me and Blake hug her.
Yang: O-Oh my Oum, I'm so sorry...
She has tears in her eyes as she goes to Isabelle and hugs her too. Isabelle calms down after a bit.
Isabelle: T-Thank you all really.
Blake: Don't mention it. Now, let's pick a piece.
Yang: Hmmmm...Ruby! What did you choose!
Ruby: The cute little pony!
Yang: Then let's pick that one!
Blake: Sure.
She smiles as they both grab their pieces.
Yang: That wasn't too hard!
Blake: Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find.
We all of a sudden hear a high pitched scream.
Yang: Some girl is in trouble! Blake, did you hear that?
Blake doesn't answer, staring at something in the sky. We then hear Weiss yelling...
Weiss: Watch oooouuuuuuut!
