Sam Johnson's P.O.V.
Sleep. I need sleep. I thought as I buried my face on the pillow. Just as I was drifting off to sleep, someone decided to ruin the fuck out of it.
"Sammmmmmm. Wake upppppp."
"Go away, Besson."
"No. Wakey wakey time." He pushed on as he shake me lightly.
"I'm gonna kill you, Besson."
"I brought you food and Starbucks."
I sighed, "You're lucky it isn't your time yet."
I sat up, looking at the boy in front of me. I grabbed the food, sitting crisscross before talking, "What brings you here at-what time is it?"
"3 pm."
"What are you doing here at 3 pm?" I groaned before eating.
"You said you'd take me to my eye appointment. I'm not allowed to drive cause my prescription expired and it's dangerous for me to drive."
"Right." I said, taking a sip out of the iced coffee. I finished eating and stood up, stretching, "Alright. Just let me take a bath."
"Okay. I'll be downstairs." He closed the door and I quickly did my daily routine, brush my teeth, take a shower, put some clothes on and brush my hair. Just as I finished, I received a text. I looked at it and it was from Jack.
Noodles 🍜 - Hey, Sam
I scrunched my eyebrow before replying,
Sam 😜 - Hey, noodles
I went out of my room with my phone, grabbing my wallet and keys too.
"Corbs, let's go."
"Okay." We walked out of my house. Just as I locked the door, I received another message.
Noodles 🍜 - What's up?
Sam 😜 - I'm taking Corbyn to his eye appointment. You wanna come?
We walked to my car and I got on the driver's seat. I texted Jack the address before starting to drive. We listen to the radio as I drive.
"Corbs?"
"Yeah?"
"How long have you been needing glasses?" I asked, decreasing the volume of the radio.
"Since I was a one year old."
"Ever thought of getting contacts?" I asked, taking a left.
"I did but I didn't like them. So I threw them out."
"Oh. That sucks." He shrugged. I parked the car and we walked out.
"Good afternoon." The receptionist spoke, "Do you have a schedule?"
"Yes. Corbyn Besson for three thirty." The receptionist looked at her lists of clients before looking back up at Corbyn.
"Oh. Right this way, sir."
"See you later." I said, sitting down on on of the couch in the waiting area. I looked at my phone, scrolling through social media. Just then, the door squeaked open and I felt the space beside me dip. I looked to my right only to see Jack, "Hi."
"Hey." I said, forcing a smile. I couldn't really bring myself to do much because of the lack of sleep I had. He scrunched his eyebrows, "You need sleep."
"You think?" I deadpanned, glaring at him.
"Here. Lay your head on my lap. Get some sleep til Corbyn gets out." He offered. Usually, I would think it's not right to sleep in public and whatnot, but I really need sleep.
"Alright." I muttered. I gave him my phone and keys, before following what he said, sleep quickly kicking in.

"Sam." I was shaken lightly, bringing me back to reality.
I opened my eyes, seeing Corbyn and Jack. I sat up, stretching and yawning, "Hi, Sam."
"Hey, Corbs." I rubbed my eyes, "What time is it?"
"Six pm. It's been three hours."
"Three hours?" I yawned in disbelief. I stood up, "I'm hungry."
"Same. Let's go get food." Corbyn agreed. I noticed that his glasses are new. The upper rims are black plastic and gold metal for the bottom rims.
"Nice glasses." I comment before looking at Jack, "Can you drive?"
"Yeah." He said. We walked out and get in the car. Jack in the driver's seat, Corbyn at the back and I sat on the passenger's seat. I looked back, seeing Corbyn paler than usual. It's like he didn't get enough sleep either.
"Tired?" I asked. But all I got in response was a snore. I chuckled, "Looks like someone's more tired than me. And I stayed up late to talk to the five of you."
"Well, you are the one who decided to call us." Jack said.
"And you guys just hung up on me." I said, annoyed before rolling my eyes.
"Cause we were trying to sleep." He argued. I let out a sigh, rolling my eyes, "Let's just get some food."
"Where do you want to go?"
"Chipotle, I guess. Or In-n-out. I think Jonah and Leia are there."
"Okay." He parked, before looking at the backseat, "Who's gonna wake up sleeping beauty in the backseat?"
I looked back at Corbyn, "Besson!"
"Go awayyyy." He said, hugging the cushion.
"Corbyn." I called again.
"What?"
"We're here." He slowly sat up and we got out of the car. We walked in and spotted Jonah and Andy. While we were walking, I looked around the shop. But what stood out the most was Corbyn. When we passed by a light, I noticed the dark circles under his eyes. I went beside him as Jack led us to Leia and Jonah, "Hey, Corbyn. Have you been sleeping well?"
"What?" He asked, blinking his eyes quickly.
"I said, have you been sleeping well." I repeated, a bit louder but not loud enough for our three friends to hear.
He sighed, "No..I have insomnia so the morning you called me I had only gotten 30 minutes when of sleep."
"Wait, what?" I asked, feeling guilty, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I felt like if I told you, you still wouldn't have given up on calling me. And I didn't want you to feel bad, like you do now."
"Well, you still should've. If I knew, I would've drive over and help you get some sleep." I said, just as we made it to their table.
"Hey." Jonah said, looking up at us.
"Hi guys." Leia waved.
"Hey, Leia ." Jack greeted. I looked at Corbyn and whispered, "We'll talk about this later." And sat down beside Leia "I'm starving."
Leia chuckled, "I can tell."
