Molly's P•O•V

The rain poured harder as I walked down the empty streets. I was working the late shift for my second job as a bartender. At the day time I work in a supermarket until 8:30; then my night job goes on until 3am.

I walked towards my car and opened the door. It's an old car that I got from my mother. I grew up with a single mom in the Bronx with three other siblings. My older brother Max. He's 18 months older than I am so my mom passed us off as twins. Then there's my sister Jennifer, and my youngest brother Jordan.

As I drove off down the highway my car began to make a familiar sound. "No. No. Please don't do this now," I begged. I know my car, I know it will break down any minute now. I pulled towards the side a little off the road, just in time for it to shut down. "Perfect. This is just perfect," I groaned.

I reached into my bag and grabbed my phone. I looked down in horror to see my phone is on five percent. I quickly unlocked it and clicked Max's name. He answered the phone fairly quickly. "Max. I'm stranded on the highway. Can you please come and get me?" I asked.

"I'm coming. Tell me where you are," he said. I got out of the car and looked around for a sign. The rain made it nearly impossible to see clearly. A car came speeding down the highway, it drove so close to me that I dropped my phone.

Before I could bend down to grab it the another car came and ran over it. "Oh come on!" I shouted. The car flattened my phone. Fucking jerk. The car that flattened my phone stopped. A man stepped out of his car dressed in a very expensive suit. He walked towards me.

"Why are you standing on the highway? I almost hit you with my car," he said. "Oh that's rich! You're mad?! Listen you rich jackass, my car broke down and you ran over my fucking phone. Now I'm stuck here!" I shouted. He looked at me with an amused look on his face. "You have an attitude problem. However I will help you. Get in the car," he said.

I looked at him as if he has four heads. "Is this a joke? If you think I'm getting into a car with you then  you're insane," I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. "It's okay. Stay here then and let some sicko pick you up off the road," he shrugged. I looked around and then thought out my opinions.

"Wait! How do I know that you're not some sicko?" I asked. He smirked and shrugged his shoulders, "Isn't that the funny part? You don't know," he said. He opened the car door for me and waited. I sighed and walked to my car grabbing my important things. I walked towards his car and  stepped.  He closed the door and then got in himself.

"Leave the door unlocked. If I hear the child safety lock I swear I'll use my heels to kick the window out," I warned. "What? You mean this sound?" He asked as he clicked the button. He continued to drive as he glanced over at me with an amused look. "Go ahead. Attempt to kick the window," he laughed.

I glared at him and crossed my arms back over my chest. "Where am I taking you?" He asked. I took his phone and put it into his gps. "By the way I'm Theo. And you are?" He asked. "I'm Molly," I said. I looked at him and studied his face now that I'm closer. He's handsome. He has short brownish black hair, cute chocolate brown eyes and a dimple when he smiles. God that's too cute! "Enjoying the view?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes and looked away from him.

We arrived at my apartment building an hour later. I pulled on the door handle to try and open it. "Are you gonna open the door?" I asked. "Are you going to say thank you? Because I have no problem driving you right back to your car," he said. "Thank you for driving me home. I honestly really did appreciate it," I admitted.

He smirked and unlocked the door. I got out of the car and walked away towards my building. I pulled out my keys and stepped inside. I am thankful that he found me and helped me home. Despite the fact that he's the reason I no longer have a phone.
