Mason's POV
I groaned when I felt something dig into my stomach. I slowly opened my eyes to see Brady my little brother climbing on me. "Can I help you?" I questioned and he gave me an innocent smile.
He got off of me and wandered over towards my window and pointed out. "I wanna go outside."
I chuckled. "You're grounded." I said as I sat up, letting my eyes adjust to the bright light.
He groaned and fell down on the floor. I stared at him confused, he's an odd, dramatic child. "I hate that asshole." He muttered.
I raised an eyebrow. "Who told you you could say that word?" I questioned and he turned around with wide eyes.
"Um... no one." He answered. I crossed my arms and waited for him to stand up as I slowly got up. He stared at me with fear in his eyes but a smirk on his face. "Did you know I have a girlfriend?" He asked clearly trying to change the subject. I chuckled at this and quirked an eyebrow. "Her name's Kaitlyn, she's that girl was there when I was getting in trouble. She's hot but not as hot as your girlfriend." I smirked as I turned to him and sat on the edge of my bed.
I chuckled as I could only imagine Sky's response to him saying that. "That girl is one of the reasons you're in trouble... do you really wanna be dating her?" I asked even though I knew that dating at their age was like nothing.
He nodded his head vigorously. "Yes!" His voice cracked making me chuckled. "She's perfect and she's not why I got in trouble, it's all Ty's fault." He said crossing his arms.
I sighed and motioned for him to sit beside me on the bed. He did as I instructed and sat down staring at me. "Brady why don't you defend yourself?" I asked and he looked down at his hands like they were the coolest things on earth. "You know you don't have to let him hurt you." I said and he shook his head.
He continued looking at his hands. "I can't. I feel bad when I hurt him..." He mumbled. Him and I are completely different people. "I know you hurt people Mason. I don't like it."
I tilted my head to the side as I examined him. Brady wasn't super tiny, he was actually the opposite, he was tall for his age and wasn't pathetic, he had muscle on him. "Why don't you come to work with me? I can show you some things there." I said and he looked up at me with bright eyes. He nodded his head happily and I smiled. "You know when I hurt people it's not bad right?" He nodded his head slowly as he looked down again.
"I know... I still don't like it." I sighed but got up and walked over to my closet. I tossed a sweatshirt on.
"Go change into jeans and a sweatshirt." I told him and he got up but I knew that's not what he was gonna wear.
I change out of my sweats and put on jeans. I walked over to Brady's room to find him sliding on his shoes. I leaned on the door frame and crossed my arms. "I thought I said jeans and a sweatshirt." I said in a stern voice but he knew I didn't care. I stared at him with an amused face as I looked at his outfit. He was wearing a sweater and khakis and his hair had been combed and styled.
I rolled my eyes as he gave me a sheepish smile. "I don't like those." He mumbled as he slid on his other shoe. I chuckled as I helped him off the ground and led him to my car. "Isn't that Sky?!" He asked excitedly as I saw her laughing on her porch.
I stared at her as I took in her features. She seems so free, ever since her dad got arrested. Her brown hair was in her natural curls, falling down her back. She was wearing white ripped jeans and my red sweatshirt. I smirked as I saw her smiling and then she turned to us. She looked so gorgeous, her olive skin shining as she turned toward the sun. She smiled at Brady who was waving and I shook my head chuckling.
