I woke up to beeping and yelling and then everything except the beeping went away as I fluttered my eyes open. I looked at my surroundings and nearly screamed. I was in a hospital, the last time I was in a hospital was a year ago and I had broke my arm jumping off a roof to get away from some cop.
I looked around and saw my sister, my parents, and Jess, along with three heads that were exiting the room. I screamed when I saw the doctor beside me. "Shit! Did you have to be there?!" I asked holding onto my chest.
I looked at my sister who gave me a crooked smile that was easily fake. "Sweetie what's the last thing you remember?" My mom asked.
I scoffed as she tried to act caring in front of the doctor and my friend. "Monday morning, going to school." I said as I tried to remember but failed miserably.
The doctor who scared me smiled brightly. "Thank god. At least you remember the right day." I looked at her petrified. What is she talking about. "You were hit by a car... your friend over here, told me you were leaving a party three nights ago and got hit by a car. You went flying over the car and thankfully only hit your head a little, your arm which should be sore broke the fall... as did the person who tried to catch you." I raised an eyebrow but she continued. "You suffered some memory loss, I feared that it was a lot more but thanks to the guy it wasn't."
I looked down at my arm and sure enough there was a huge bruise and some little scratches that you get from sliding across the ground. "Who was it?"
Jess looked over at my sister and took a deep breath. "Mason... he was the first person to..." She stopped mid sentence and glanced over at my sister again. "To follow you outside and he couldn't get to you in time, the music was also super loud so you couldn't hear... he grabbed you right before you could hit the ground super hard. I mean you both went flying back but he did manage to keep you from getting super hurt."
I nodded my head and looked at the door. "How is he?" I asked.
She grinned. "He's fine, he's been hurt a lot and he landed on his butt so he didn't really have a lot of pain from landing on the ground."
I nodded my head gladly. "Who was leaving when I woke up?"
My dad grumbled. "Four guys that came here to see you. I made them leave because they were all arguing except one, but I didn't like the look on his face." He muttered.
I chuckled. "Can you send them back in? Oh and you two can leave." I pointed at my dad and mom.
Jess stared at me shocked but sister gave me a grateful look. I barley blinked and was squished between two strong chests. I knew in an instant that it was Masons and Hunters. When they pulled away I was squished again by Chase and Finn. I held onto Finns hand and he tensed a little which confused me. He looked down at me and then back up. "Thanks Mason." I smiled brightly at him. "I don't know what would've happened to me if you hadn't have been there." He looked like he got sick by hearing that and looked over at Hunter but quickly washed the look off his face and smiled.
"No problem Sky. I'm just glad you're okay." He said in the softest voice over ever heard. "Do you know when you're released?"
The doctor standing beside Mason smiled. "Yes and no you can't take her home, I don't trust your driving, Jess is already going to drive her. She can leave after she fills out a sheet and does one quick test." I stared at them completely lost. Do they know each other? My un asked question was answered. "This is my nephew." She explained. My mouth formed in an 'o' shape and I nodded my head. "So why don't you go get her some clothes. Oh and take the rest of your jock friends with you."
