Sky's POV

I was at Jess's house and found out Mason lied. I'm so confused. Why did he lie to me? Neither Jess nor I could figure it out. I hung out with Jess the rest of the day though.

I looked over her as she grabbed a water bottle. "What time is it?" She asked.

I glanced at my phone to check. "It's 5:43."

She walked over to me and groaned. "We don't have food, do you wanna go to the store?" I nodded my head as my stomach growled. I'm starving.

I hopped out of my seat and sprinted outside with her as we got in my car. I drove us to the store and we started looking for food. "What do you want?" I asked and she went to answer but I squealed. I really wanted some Chinese food. "Can we get rice?!"

She stared at me with a slightly scared and concerned look. "Yes?" She said it as more of a question.

I jumped up and down before I put it in the cart and started walking more. "Let's get some chips and more drinks." She said and as we were walking down the chip aisle I almost ran into someone with our cart.

"She's really pretty." I mumbled, she had our back to us but even her figure and her pretty strawberry blonde hair screamed gorgeous. "I'm sure Hunter would be all over her."

Jess laughed but slowly stopped as the girl turned around slowly making me clamp my mouth shut. She was immensely pretty. "Jane..?"

The girl stood there frozen like a kid who got into a cookie jar they weren't supposed to get into. "Jess!" She finally squealed as she wrapped her arms around her. "Oh my god hi!"

I stared at them confused. "Wait why are you back?! Does M-" Jess stopped talking out of nowhere.

Jane nodded her head. "I just came to stop by, I'm not sure how long I'm staying. I still have to find somewhere to stay..." She trailed off before she turned to me. "I'm sorry, hi my name's Jane."

I took her outstretched hand. "Skyler." I said with a small smile.

Jess directed her attention back to me. "Sky, Jane used to go to our school before you came."

I smiled, not really knowing what to say. "Did you two want to catch up? I can just head home..." I mumbled trying to be nice.

Jane shook her head. "No, no, I wouldn't want to be rude. You two are hanging out, we can catch up later. Party at Mikey's?" She questioned with a smirk.

I guess that was an inside thing because I didn't understand. "I wish, we don't really go to the parties because we all keep having issues. But hey you could eat dinner with us. I'm pretty sure Chase and Hunter are coming over, one of Sky's friends are coming over. Are Ivy and Grace coming?" She asked as she looked at me.

I bit my lip. "Um yeah I think so, I'm pretty sure Ash is coming too."

"I keep forgetting Ashton is out of the hospital." She mumbled.

Jane nodded her head which confused me but then we eyes widened. "Ashton was in the hospital?"

Jane looked over at me and gulped. "Um yeah... it's not important. He's okay now."
