After a few week in this hellhole of a school I've learned that Mason is very persistent, that it's actually not hard to be shy it's just annoying, and that the guys here are assholes.
I looked over at Jess who was in Math with me. We became friends quickly. "Do you know if there's anything fun here?" I asked.
She smirked at me. "Yeah. Glad you asked, there's a party tonight. You can stay at my house after because it's at my house. I'll give you a ride since you don't know where it is." I've stayed at Sadie and Adriana's house with Ivy.
I looked t her confused. "Don't you live with your brother?" I asked.
She gave me a confused look. "He didn't tell you? I live with our mom and he lives with our dad. They got divorced and my dad took him and my little brother and my mom kept me." She explained. My mouth formed in an 'o' shape.
"Who all goes to the parties?" I asked and she smirked.
She looked back to make sure the teacher wasn't staring at us. "Since it's a Friday... everyone, including some people from other schools. My moms away on another meeting so the house is empty again." She grinned. Jess is a lot like my friend Tracy except Jess seems more talkative. Jess looked over at Chase who was behind us. "You're coming tonight right?" She asked.
He gave her a 'duh' look. "Obviously, I wouldn't miss it." When she turned back around I saw Chase still smiling at her. "You going Skyler?" He asked me.
I nodded my head slowly. "She's gonna let out her wild side tonight." Hunter smirked from beside Chase. Chase rolled his eyes and glared over at him.
"Please, Skyler doesn't have a wild side." Chase mumbled.
Jess turned back to them. "Can you two shut the fuck up? Thanks." She looked over at me checking if I was okay. "Ignore them. They're idiots." She went back to her work and so did I.
The bell for lunch rang and we all headed to the lunch room. My sister sat down beside Sadie and they kept talking enthusiastically with Adriana. Jess and I were talking to each other about the party and stuff. I glared at Hunter as he sat down beside me. "Hey babe." He smirked.
I looked down at the table holding in my anger. "Leave the girl alone. You know she doesn't like you." Adriana muttered. Obviously she seemed slightly annoyed that he was flirting with me instead of her.
I gave her a nice smile and Hunter stayed there eating his lunch. Chase came and sat between Jess and Adriana. I waited for it and sure enough Mason made a spot for himself between Jess and I. He smirked at me while I looked at the table. "Everyone's going to the party right?" He asked and my sister looked confused. "Even little miss innocent over here?" He asked me and my sister shot me a look.
She looked like she wanted to say 'no' but she kept quiet. "Yes." I said quietly.
He looked over at me with a raised eyebrow. "What was that? I didn't catch it." He smirked.
Jess glared over at him as I ducked my head. "She said yes. Stop being an asshole."
He rolled his eyes and looked over at me. "I'll stop being an ass when sweetheart over here tells us who she really is." He smirked and whispered in my ear. "I'll see you at the party, make sure you wear your modest clothes. Wouldn't want anyone finding out your secret, now would we sweetheart." He got up and left as his lips brushed my ear.
I looked around the table and caught my sisters eye. She was sending me death glares. I've never seen her look like that. "Bathroom." She snarled at me. My eyes widened and I followed her to the bathroom. She checked to see if anyone was in the stalls. "You need to watch yourself."
