Chapter XI

After a while she dressed herself up, in her usual attire. She just tied her hair up in a messy bun since she's too lazy to fix it. She grabbed her bag. She first inspected if her car keys were in there. When she saw it, she was ready to go.

When she got down, naabutan niya si Ken watching the TV. She just went to him and kissed his forehead, just like the old times.

"I'm going. Bye." She said in a very sweet voice.

Ken was in shock by what she did. It reminded him of what they were before. He sat there frozen. He felt his heart race. Damn. He's like a teenager.

"Where's my car?" She said worriedly, returning to the living room. And by that statement, that's when he was back to reality.

"Uh- Oh. It's still in the bar. I wasn't able to get it. I'll get it later. Do you have the keys?" He asked.

"Yes. Here it is. Thank you. I'll just go get a taxi." She said opening the door.

"Ana, wait for me, I'll bring you there." He said.

She was shocked. He didn't even ask where she was going. How would he know. Gosh. Her husband is confusing. Just a while ago he was so cold to her. But now, he's doing her a favor? Weird. So she just sat down there

After a while Ken went back to the living room looking so handsome in his white shirt and pants. He is still so handsome, his body is so toned and buff basically what she'd like to call 'Captain America' body. Typically every girl's dream guy.

"Let's go." He said without even looking at Ana and went out to the door.

"There he is again. Gosh." Ana whispered to herself. She just followed him. She sat down on the passenger seat.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"I thought you'd never ask. To work.." And she told him the place. He just followed. It was not so far, it was also not a long drive. But it felt like hours, they were so quiet in the car. It was maybe awkward for them.

"And we're here. Do want to come in?" She said to break the awkwardness.

"Okay." He said plainly. She got off the car.

"Teacher Ana!!" She heard a little voice calling her name. She went to her.

"Hi there, Angel!" She said with a smile and hugged the kid.

"Teacher I missed you!" She said, what a cute little 6 year old.

"I missed you too! Why don't you come in there and go to the others?" And Angel went inside.

"Hay, she's sad yesterday that there were no classes." Angel"s mother said with a chuckle.

"Ay, I'm sorry, something came up yesterday kasi." She told her.

"It's okay. So, I better get going. See you later!" The Mom said and nagbeso nalang sila.

He was still in awe with what he saw, Ana? A teacher? Of what? The way she handled the kid was so adorable.

"Do you want to come in?" She asked her husband, he was back to himself.

"Uh, sure." That's what he managed to say. When they got in, he was more in awe the place was amazing with lots of paintings and the interior was very nice it look very elegant. He was looking around.

"Ana, the kids are waiting for you." He heard Kelly said. Kelly? What was she doing there?

"Uh. Oh yeah! I'll be there. Uhm, Ken, thanks for the ride." That's what she said and went to her room.
