Chapter XV

The next morning Ana prepared breakfast because she got up early for some reason she doesn't know. She's in a good mood. Maybe because of what happened last night. Kinikilig pa rin siya.

The moment she realized that it was still too early for Ken to get up, she just sat down and got her Ipad. She might as well do something.

After just a few minutes, she heard footsteps. It might be Ken. She just looked at her Ipad. She saw something really interesting that she can't let it out of her sight.

Ken woke up, in a not so good mood. He haven't gotten a good sleep, because he kept thinking of what he did. Stupid Ken. When he got down, he saw Ana sitting down on the dining table, and the table ready for breakfast. She didn't even notice him. She was too occupied. Ken felt bothered. How can she act like nothing happened? Ganun lang ba yun? Ako di nakatulog while siya, ganyan? He thought. Wait, what am I thinking? I should not be thinking about that. He thought again. So he just sat down on the chair parallel to hers. And that's the only moment she noticed his presence.

Naku. Ana, busy-busyhan ka pa dyan. Nahihiya ka lang e. She thought. When he finally sat down in front of her, that's when she started to compose herself.

"Oh, Ken, you're up early. So, uhm. Would you like a coffee, tea, or juice?" She said and smiled sweetly. Good job Ana, you're doing it right. Whoooo. She looked so calm but she's really tensed on the inside. Oh Ana.

"I'll have a coffee, thank you." Ken said plainly.

Huh. Strange. Usually he asks for tea in breakfast. As far as she knows, he's not a coffee person. Well. Things change, don't they?

She stood up to get him a cup of coffee. Good thing she prepared coffee.

Ken just sat there, looking at the food she prepared. There's fried rice, bacon, sunny side up eggs, ham, and sausages. She sure did cook a lot. Tsk. But he was distracted. How can she manage to look cute and gorgeous at the same time? Uh. Erase the thought.

"Coffee for you, juice for me!" Ana said while sitting down.

"What are you staring at the food at? Let's eat!" She said again. And that made Ken move. So he started putting food on his plate.

He was eating when he noticed that Ana was looking at him. Weird.

"I know I'm handsome. Would you stop staring?" He said, joking in the first statement.

"Huh? What? AS IF! Your dark circles are so dark. Didn't you get any sleep last night? You look like a Koala." She said. While giggling.

He was caught off guard.

"What the heck are you saying??" He said defensively.

"Are you deaf? Didn't you hear what I said?" She said as joke again.

"Just eat Ana." He said. And ate.

"Okay. Okay."

Ana was still laughing in her mind. Oh, he's so cute.

"So, uh, Ken, will you be going somewhere today?" She asked. Since it's Sunday, she's thinking if they could go to the mall after Church. Yes, they go to Church together since they were in good terms. 

"No. Why?" He said while chewing. The bacon's good.

"Can we go to the mall after?" She asked.

"What mall?"

"The one we went to last time. I just want to go to that Italian restaurant." She said like a kid "think of it like we're going on a date." She added.
