You entered the Police station out of pure curiosity of Hau'oli City and you were shocked to see a certain dreamboat standing there with three hypno. Still need votes on that poll.

You walked up and he noticed you. He gave you a polite smile.
"Ah, Hello again trainer. I, Captain Ilima, have been found in quite the predicament here, see?"
You nodded and looked at the Hypno. Your gaze then returned to the oceanic gray waves of Ilima's dreamy eyes. Wat.
"You see, I returned home to find my guard machop fainted. After caring for it I returned to my room And...."
Pause for dramatic effect.
"My nugget vanished!"

You gasped. Who dared steal from Captain Ilima! Just a nugget, you say? But it was his nugget! That sounded dirty....oops.
"I'd hate to blame Pokémon but I found these three at the sight. This hypno has mastered Psychic And levitating objects. This one was using nasty plot at the scene of the crimes. And this last Hypno is exceedingly good at quick hypnosis. I can't figure out which one committed the crime. Which one do you believe did it?"
Which one did? You kinda had a feeling they all did. You decided it was the Psychic Hypno because levitation And Psychic is super effective against fighting types like Machop. The three attacked you to the station's surprise. You sent out Litten. You taught it using a TM a move thst could one Shot all three at once.
"Litten, Dark Pulse!"
The Pokemon obliged and let out a darkening aura that made all the Psychic Pokemon feint. You healed them up halfway. After the healing Ilima paused. He thought for a moment and then his face brightened up.
"Captain Magic!"

"One hypno made the scheme using nasty plot and they put machop to sleep before causing him to faint And used Psychic to steal my nugget!"
