Calem x Reader

I'm sorry but I always give him a froakie because it just fits! XD! STORYTIME!

You faced the raven haired trainer  he had a pokeball ready in his hand and so did you. You were in the tower of mastery but there was only one Mega Bracelet. Calem wanted it. You did too but Calem was your crush. Did you really want to battle him.

You looked down and put your pokeball away. Calem, Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno all looked at you confused. You shifted in your black and red Kalosan dress.

"Hey, (Your name), you okay?"

You look up at Calem and sigh. You put your hands behind your back and your hat tilts down, putting a shade over your eyes in that anime fashion.

"You can have the mega bracelet. None of my Pokémon can Megan evolve anyway..."

It was a reasonable lie. Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno have Kanto stsrters while you chose Fennekin  And Calem had Froakie. You were a pushover, and a total maid when coming to your crush, Calem. If he asked for anything from you, you'd give him a hundred and ten percent. It's just how you were. But Shauna stepped in.

"But at the Palace you told me how much you were looking forward tl bonding with your Audino to let it Megan evolve! Did you trade Audino?!"

You shook your head. Audino was a gift from your Unovan Cousin Who worked at some resteraunt. She hadn't  need for it so she asked you to talk care of it. Or, her instead of it. You looked down shamefully, thinking of another excuse. But you didn't get one in time for Calem to question you.

"(Your name)... do you not want to battle me?"

You blushed scarlet. Tierno and Trevor were talking amongst themselves while Shauna was watching in worry for her friend. You twirled a strand of hair around your index finger, refusing to meet Calem's eyes as you stuttered."

"Yes! I-I mean no! I don't want to battle you but I'll battle you fo you w-want me to! I just....I think you're more worthy than me and shoud life just take it..."

You bowed your head apologetically.

"Sorry."

That's when Calem walked towards you and placed a hand on your shoulder. You blushed a deep crimson that would make your skirt jealous as you looked into his brilliant eyes.

"I'll only battle you do you want to. What do you want."

That was a question nobody has ever asked you before this moment. You never knew what you wanted because you never did what you want. Your who,e Journey was because professor wanted you to do it in the first place. You only battled because Calem wanted you to. You saved the scientists from team flare because Calem wanted to. You returned that Furfrou to his owner because Shauna wanted to. You compared Pokédexs with Trevor because he wanted to. You danced with Tierno because he wanted to.

What did you want? You just wanted happiness, and doing what others want was your happiness. You looked in his eyes. He was searching your own for answers. You parted your lips slightly and the words spilled out. 

"You to be happy."

This was clearly not the answer Calm as expecting. Nobody expected the answer. Calem staggered back a bit and Shauna smiled And squealed. Trevor nodded and Tierno smiled. You looked at the floor again.

"I don't care what happens to me. As long as you are happy, I'm happy. Take it, I insist."

Even though you'd never master Mega evolution with Audino like your causin wanted, you had priorities. Calem was them. Calem waited a second before but nodding. He took out his skates and went to The top of the Tower of Mastery. Teirno amd Trevor were silent as Shauna approached you from behind.

"That was a big thing to do."

"...yeah."

"Soooooooooo~ you like Calem?"

Trevor blushed almost halfway as intensely as you did and Teirno started teasing you with Shauna. Now you wished you accepted the battle....

I liked this because the reader is kinda me in a way. I hope you enjoyed!
