STORYTIME!!! And Alola!
You stood in front of the Battle tree with Green and Red in your Way. The final battle. You had only three of your Pokémon suited for battle.
That's when rhe familiar rival ran behind you with his causal grin you always adored amd thought of as cute. Wait, you never thought his grin was cute? What was up with you?!
Hau ran uo the steps to your side in front of the Kanto champions. You grabbed one pokeball and looked over arm Hau. No words were even needed. Double battle? Sure. He sent out his beloved Inceneroar while your Primeria was already doing her little introduction animation. Green sent out his Blastoise and Red his legendary Pikachu.
"One on one, kids?"
The a$$hat (his original name) asked and you looked over at Hau. He did the classic hand side behind neck thing.
"Ask (your name)!"
"One on one is nice! Yeah!"
Red just tipped his hat off to you and the battle began. Green called out his command instantly. You and Red needed no words for your Pokémon to know. Hau retaliated in command.
"Hydro cannon on the fire type!"
"Don't let it spray you and get close enough for some close combat."
Primeria snuck a glance at you and you nodded. You swam Pikachu and red copy this action. No words needed. You let your Pokémon choose what was best. They knew better than you anyway. You peek a glimpse at Hau Who was already jumping in enthusiasm.
Incenaroar couldn't jump out of the Hydro cannon but luckily Primeria decided to use ice beam on the Hydro cannon causing it to freeze up and do minimal damage, allowing Incenaroar to use close combat on Blastoise. But this came at a price. Primeria was struck with a powerful thunderbolt loosening wuite a bit of HP. No biggie. You had a drill. You swiftly snuck a hand in your bag and pulled out an oran berry and to stratus berries and threw them in the air. Without skipping a beat your partner caught them in her mouth and regained health.
Green gawked and Red smirked. Hau was cheering and having a blast. Primeria thanked you internally before turning bakc and reading a dazzling gleam. Blastoise was still rock echsrging but yet loosing health rapidly by Incenaroar's continuous close combat. Pikachu was charging an Electro ball at it. When it let loose Primeria let loose her dazzeling gleam causing the electro ball to evaporate. Pikachu turned To Primeria. Bro he of them charged up powerful moves. Pikachu used thunder while Primeria countered with Ice beam, since hydro pump would jus rain conduct electricity and cause extra damage. Inceneroar was done with Blastoise after it fainted. It took theee close comabts.
"Now Incenaroar, help put Pirmeria with Shadow Claw!"
The giant bulk bogan Pokémon smashed fist into the ground as the showdown of its claws sprouted under Pikachu causing the thunder to falter allowing the ice beam, now fused with the thunder attack, to hit him and cause an immediate fainting.
Hau jumped uo in Triumph. Your Pokémon gave eachother's a high five. Green was cursing aloud while red just had a shocked look on his face. You ran to Hau and hugged him instinctively, and then kissed his cheek.
"We were awesome, Hau!"
He was dumbfounded for words and just blushed while you kept hugging him and your Pokémon were cheering. You won!
