He stood in front of you. He had a totally new demeanor to him. Your own rival, the sickly frail little boy you grew to love, Now was standing with the most determined look you've ever seen with his shirt buttoned open to reveal his newly toned chest.
How?! You both were, like, ten and he was like this! Well, you were now eleven. Your journey carried your birthday. But HOW!?
"(Your name), I challenge you to a one on one battle!"
Right in front of victory road with the waterfall pouring mercilessly behind him. His green hair ruffling within itself. You were shocked to see Wally right here, like this.
"What happened to my cute little Wally? When did he get so tough?"
You smiled And joked around, walking up to him. The blush that spread on his face reassured you he was the same kawaii little boy.
"C-cute?"
You smiled and booped his nose.
"Yep. But now you're so determined! One on one? Sure. Are you going to battle with the Ralts I helped you catch?"
His stutter was so adorable. You couldn't help but want to bully him. He fiddled with his fingers and struggled to hide his stutter by providing a frontman of confidence.

You fangirled under your breath at the new Wally. He wasn't just cute, he was hot. How one is cute and hot at the same time you willing never know.

You snatched a pokeball off your belt and Wally grabbed his favorite pokeball. I knew because it had a little Sinnohian seal. Must have been from a friend on his journey. You threw the contraption in the air and out popped you're beloved starter, Blazekin. Wally was a,aged at how big your torchic grew in his final evolution and nodded. He threw out his pokeball to Reveal not the expected Gardevior, but a Gallade.
"Oh? A fighting/Psychic type? You wanted Gallade?"
"Ralts wanted to be strong, really strong! I gave him my dawnstone and he became a Gallade!"
The stars in his eyes were adorable. He was really passionate about his partner. No matter. It was a battle of the fighting types.
"Let's make this quick, Blazekin, use Close combat!"
"Gallade! Out of the way and use Psyco cut!"
The giant rooster Pokémon charged for the knightly Pokémon but to he swordsman jumped up in the air and used the baldest on it's a arms to create a psychic carve and launched almost sonic boom so of thst energy towards Blazekin. Blazekin managed to use the moment of the charge of close combat to get out of the way.
"Flamethrower!"
"Counter it with Prismatic laser!"
Two powerful beams were shot at eachother from the two powerful Pokémon. Fire collided with psychic power causing both to flu backwards.
"When did Gallade learn Prismatic Laser? That's the most powerful Psychic move I can think of!"
"Well...We wanted to impress you...we want to be strong like you!"
A blush crept on Your face as Blazekin managed to stand. Gallade was recovering from the beam. Wally really grew strong. You had to up your game. His eyes locked on yours And you smirked at him, holding up your wrist. He reached for his pendant and held it up. Both of you shouted at the same time:
"Now, Megan evolve!"
Blazekin And Gallade were wrapped in a powerful energy before merging from it in their most powerful forms. You had to wrap this up, and quick. Gallade and Wally really were strong.
"High jump kick, Blazekin! Let's go!"
"Gallade! Block it with secret sword!"
Blazekin pounced from above with its leg radiating full energy towards Gallade but his blades on his arms, now even sharper, cut him and made the power decrease just enough so the skinner Pokémon could grab Blazekin and not let him go.
"Now, while we got him! Plasmatic Laser!"
Gallade charged up energy and Blazekin couldn't get away. No...
the beam hit Blazekin head on and sent him flying. He hit the wal, Of the cavern And was forced out of his mega evolution state. Gallade purposefully regained his natural form as he went back to Wally, earning himself high fives and hugs.
You rushed to your now fainted Blazekin. You sadly had him return before returning to Wally's and Gallade.
"Wow. That was great strategy. You really are the better trainer."
"You think so?! We beat (Your name), Gallade! This is the best day ever!"
They both jumped around excited and you couldn't help but smile. Wally really was stronger than you counted him to be.
