Chapter 12: King's Game
“WOOOOO finally! Exams are over!” Taehyung shouted from afar, running towards the four of us (Jungkook, Jimin, Maya and me). He wrapped his arms around me and Jungkook's shoulders.“So what are we gonna do now?” I asked, slapping away Taehyung's arm from me. He was taken aback by my action and distanced himself from me.
“How about we go to a café and play cards?” Jimin suggested. Maya called my attention and pointed at her watch. I looked at my watch and realized that it's already 6 PM.
“It's pretty late though, what about Maya? She has a curfew.” I asked.
Jimin opened his mouth and said,“I'll-“
“I'll walk her home.” Jungkook cut Jimin off. Jimin was surprised but he didn't let it get into him as his face returned to his smiling expression. Jimin smiled at him. Jungkook, on the other hand, never laid his eyes on him. He seemed like he was avoiding his gaze.
“Okay! Let's just wait for Hobi and Jin at the café, shall we move on now?” Taehyung interrupted, changing the topic. He once again placed his hands around me and Jungkook. Jungkook aggressively removes Taehyung's arm around him and distanced himself from us. Taehyung looked so offended.
“What's with people today?” He turned to look at me, his arm still around my shoulder.
“It's coz you don't randomly put your arms around people's shoulders.” I gave him a fake smile and slowly removed his hand from me.
“No! Let me show my love for you guys!” He yelled and suddenly wrapped me in his arms as we walk away from the others.“Taehyung what's this? Flirting in public?” Jimin asked from afar while giggling.
“Yeah give me and Y/N some quality time.” He replied and laughed in his deep voice.
“Get your hands off me!” I yelled and pushed him away.
“Come on Y/N! Anyway, is it really true? What Jungkook said the other night?”
It's been days but he's still skeptical about it.
“Uhh yeah how many times do we have to say it?”
“So… do you support them? Maya and Jungkook?”
“No, of course not! I can't believe the two of them did this to Jimin.”
Taehyung sighed after hearing me say that.
“I thought I was the only one. Hobi doesn't want to give comments about it and I haven't asked Jin.” He stated and looked away.
This guy and I really think the same, I wish Jungkook thought of this too.

We reached the café and ordered our drinks. We played some card games while waiting for Jin and Hoseok. The seniors have their exams until 7 PM, so we'll be playing some random games. It has been our group tradition to go to some place to have fun after our exams.
After a few minutes, Hoseok and Jin have finally arrived.
“Sorry for the wait.” Hoseok spoke as they find their place to sit.
“It's okay! So what are we gonna play?” Maya asked.
The six of us (Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin, Hoseok, Jin and me) looked at each other and yelled simultaneously.
“KING'S GAME!”
So to anyone who doesn't know King's Game, it's where there are cards (7 cards in our case) distributed to the group and one card would be the face card, King, the six other cards are the number cards (1-6). The king then calls a number and gives out a command. The one who got the number should do what was commanded by the King or receives punishment. There is no limit to how many the king commands, it can be a question, a dare. Do whatever you want if you're a King. Have fun playing!
