Chapter 18: A Different Way

And is wattpad okay yet??? I want to update so badly coz I want to finish this before school starts but wattpad is being a lil bih and I can't see the comments T.T

Chapter 18:

"You're going on a date with Taehyung?"

"For the last time it's not a date. We're just going to watch a movie that's all."

It's been three days since Jungkook has been staying at my apartment. It's been three days and he still haven't given Maya an answer. He said he still needs more time to think about it. Honestly, I think this guy has no intention of coming back. He's just keeping Maya waiting in vain. I want to tell Maya about my thoughts, but I don't want to meddle between them again, one wrong move and I could affect their relationship. And no, nothing happened between me and Jungkook, we're siblings okay?!

"If it's not a date when why are you dressing up?" he asked, curious about my actions. Taehyung and I have always wanted to see this anime movie, being the weebs we are, as Jungkook said. Jungkook has been uneasy about it since this morning I told him of my plans for today.

"Coz, if I don't dress up, I'd look like Tae's babysitter walking next to him." I replied, finishing my make up and preparing myself to go.

"Well that's true." He agreed, nodding his head.

"So you're saying I'm ugly? Leave my apartment immediately you freeloader!" I yelled as I threw a pillow at him, causing him to laugh.

"Okay, but take care of yourself young lady. Come home before 9 PM or I'm locking you out." He commanded in a serious tone.

"Are you my dad now? Since when have you cared about me?" I asked as I wore my shoes, preparing myself to leave.

"Don't forget to use protection okay?" Jungkook laughed.

"Shut up!" I yelled and slammed the door shut. Honestly this guy.

Taehyung and I are now walking around the mall together, having just finished watching the anime movie we've been anticipating. We went to a fastfood to have dinner and talked nonstop about the movie we just watched. Taehyung and I have definitely become closer for the past few days, we share the same thoughts, hobbies and interests. Something I'm always conflicted with Jungkook about. He's a nice person too, unlike Jungkook, he doesn't make use of me and actually talks to me and not because he needs something from me. Wait why am I thinking about Jungkook again?

"Jungkook hasn't come home to the apartment for days. I wonder where he is." Taehyung asked as we walk towards the arcade.

"I don't know either." I lied, turning away from Taehyung's gaze. Jungkook and I decided to keep it a secret, as I didn't want anyone to think I'm siding with Jungkook, not now that he had a conflict with Jimin. And also, people would think we're doing something once they learned we're sleeping in the same roof. I can't let my image be tarnished.

Taehyung played the claw machine and got me a prize. I was amazed that he was good at it because never in my entire life have I gotten a prize from those rigged claw machines.

"How are you so good at this? Yoongi was good at this too. What kind of magic do you guys do?" I asked him cheetfully, getting a prize from that machine (even if it wasn't me who got it) made me so happy. I scanned the face of the bear I got and it was a pale white one, and reminded me of someone "Ugh it looks like Yoongi too. Now I hate it."
