He led me to his car. He was willing to share his happy place with me, I don't think he knew how much that meant to me.

"You know I wouldn't advise allowing me to see your happy place. Much less be in it and--" I was rambling.

"Lex, trust me, I know this will work."

"And what if I break it?" I pouted.

"Then it broke for a good cause." He shot me a smile that kind of almost made my heart stop? This boy! Argh!

I nodded and got inside his car.

It was just your average, relatively comfortable car. But I almost instantly knew what made the car so special.

"It smells like cake." I stated with a satisfied smile.

"Yep." He grinned.

"Okay now I have an overwhelming urge to chew on your car seats." I shook my head.

He laughed.

I crossed my arms and glared at him.

"Oh you're serious." He pretended to be serious for a moment.

"Of course I'm serious! I love cake! And your car literally smells like melting chocolatey goodness! One of my many weaknesses!"

"That can be fixed." He licked his lower lip.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I raised a brow at him.

"It means we're going to get cake!" Wow. Okay. I love this boy.

"So now you're trying to make me fat?" I teased.

"Well that's one way of looking at it, I guess."

"You know I was expecting you to be at least a little scared of me!" I squinted.

"Scared?" He laughed. "Scared? Lex You're an absolute angel and there's almost nothing you can do to convince me otherwise."

"I am not an angel! I'm a ball of rage and angst!" He cracked a smile. Damn. Why is he so completely convinced that I'm an angel???

"I'm going to have to agree with you on that Lexi." This cannot honestly be happening right now! The voice wasn't mine or Teddy Bear's. No. It came from the backseat. *Internal screeching*

I wasn't even surprised! I was just embarrassed. Argh.

Teddy Bear jumped and the car came to a stop. I bet that scared him!

Badboy was laughing. He wasn't the least bit affected by Teddy Bear's reaction.

"Am I imagining this? Or is there really a hooded figure in the backseat?" He whispered to me. He had to wear that stupid hoodie, right?

"No, no there's really someone in the backseat." I looked down at my hands. "Badboy, meet Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear, meet the creepy idiot who deserves to get his butt kicked right about now." I lunged for him!

"Lex, Lex, Lex, it's okay, hey, calm down!" As I tried to turn my body to do some damage to the flawless imbecile in the backseat I felt Teddy Bear's hands hold me down gently by the waist.

"Listen to your boyfriend Lexi." Badboy smirked in the backseat.

If I wasn't blushing before that, I was now. I could feel the heat spread through my cheeks and to my ears. I was all blushy blushy! I feel like an idiot!

"He's not my boyfriend, can you please not embarrass me any more than you already have?"

"His hands are on you Lexi and if he doesn't have permission to have them there--"
