"Alexa Harrison. We meet again."

"Clearly." I rolled my eyes at him as I fished out my wallet.

"Your eyes still shine." He noted.

"Cookies and cream." I said.

"Whatever you say Pumpkin Pie." He handed me my ice cream. "What's the achievement then?"

"We're not friends, Lovestone." I sent him a cold glare.

"You're especially chirpy today, huh?"

I ignored his comment, paid for my ice cream and turned my back to him as I made my way towards the door.

First there were exes. And then there was Nick Lovestone. This ice cream better be worth the effort.

"Hey Lexi!"

Keep walking. Keep walking. Keep walking.

"I have a little surprise planned for Blackriver." What the fuck did he just say?

I spun on my heel and found my nose nearly touching his.

"What kind of surprise are we talking here?" I placed my hand on his chest and pushed him a few feet away.

"Meet me here at midnight and I'll tell you."

"I give you seven seconds to speak up Lovestone."

He laughed. "You need the answers this time Lexi."

"I don't need anything from you. I'm allowing you to tell me what it is you have in mind. Badboy is perfectly capable of taking care of himself."

"I'll wait for you!" I heard him call out as I left.

"Creep." I muttered under my breath as I got inside my car.

I sat there just enjoying my ice cream in silence--"You!" I let out a startled screech as I heard Badboy's voice.

"Sometimes I'm convinced you're a rooster. Other times you're trying your best to convince me of such." I noticed him shake his head from the corner of my eye. What the hell? How long has he been hiding in the backseat?

"What the fuck!" I had managed to crush my ice cream cone in my panicked state and get ice cream all over myself and sat there staring at the horror. Badboy laughed. And he continued laughing for the next twenty minutes.

"You asshole!" I shouted.

"Are you going to cry for ice cream?" He said as I continued staring at the mess.

"Maybe!"

"Lexi it's just ice cream." He laughed.

"Honestly sometimes it's like you don't have a heart at all! Ice cream is probably the only thing worth crying for! Apart from brownies and fries! And Steve Rogers!" Fine I was being dramatic but--but my ice cream!

"I'll get you another one if it's such a big deal, I didn't realize you'd freak out this way when you saw me."

"You literally emerged from my backseat! Do you know how creepy that was! No you don't! Now care to explain what the fuck you were doing in my car? And how long have you been there?" I needed answers!

"I needed a ride home and you weren't going to take me if you knew, so I just got inside when you were distracted. Figured now was the right time to come out of hiding." This idiot.

"Badboy... I don't even know what to say to you anymore." I shook my head.

"You don't have to say anything. I understand you. Words are unnecessary between us--" I placed a finger on his lips and rolled my eyes-- he licked my finger! Gross!
