Klance One Shots

Sacrifice; Klangst

Lance cried out in triumph as he flew out of the ship. He laughed in relief. "KEITH C'MON WE'VE ALMOST MADE IT!!!!!" He could see blue flying towards his way. 

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" A familiar voice cried out in Lance's head. It rattled his brain. He looked behind him. Keith had knocked his head on a piece ship debris, cracking his helmet. Lance's heart stopped. 

"NO! KEITH!!" Lance screamed, flying through space. He tried to ignore Keith's desperate gasps. He could barely watch as Keith clutched his throat, his lips turning blue. Lance took a deep breath and took his helmet off. His lungs instantly began to collapse. Lance gasped for breath in the vast darkness that is space. Lance concentrated everything he had into slipping the helmet on Keith. Lance could feel his lips tug upwards into a smile as Keith gasped for breath

"Lance!!!!" Keith gasped, taking in a much needed breath. Lance smiled and felt his lungs finally stop. "Keith.." Lance whispered before all his limbs went numb and he died. 

Keith tried to pry off the helmet but Lance did something and it was locked, practically attached to his head. Keith grabbed Lance and flew to Blue. Her loud, whining hum was ear-shattering. Keith climbed inside Blue and pushed her controls. She whined and crashed into the castle, alerting everyone else. Keith threw off the helmet, finally prying it off. He picked up Lance and ran out of Blue, tripping over his heels. 

"CORAN!!!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!! ANYONE!!!!" Keith cried out. He fell to the ground, finding it hard to breathe. Not being able to breathe for so long must've damaged his lungs. 

The team ran into the room and saw Keith gasping for breath and a dead Lance with dark blue lips. They all stopped. Coran picked Lance up and ran him over to the pods while (FAKE) Shiro picked Keith up and brought him over to the pods. Keith looked up and his heart broke in two at what he saw. 

LANCE MCCLAIN IS DEAD **/**/**

Keith let out a sob and fell out of "Shiro's" hands He crawled over to the pod and laid a hand on the cool glass. The words were flashing a deep red. Keith slowly fell asleep. 

The next couple days passed by slowly. Keith barely remembers it. He remembers burning Lance's body on Okulron. He remembers passing out and falling off a cliff. He remembers waking up from the healing pod. 

Keith slashed the robots best he could, running out of breath quickly. He screamed at the ground, gasping for breath. Lance's sacrifice will always be apart of Keith.
