"I said: What. Happened?" Daichi repeats, feeling himself growing impatient after seeing the first years' fight. If this is how they're going to get along, then it was better off when the Volleyball team only had 6 players.
"We..." the green haired one starts, drawing out the word, "came to the gym to look for the Volleyball team but instead found them practicing. We thought they were members of the team, so we went up to ask them where everyone else was. That's when we recognized who exactly they were. There was some talking and teasing going around, then a challenge t-to a match in Volleyball. We teased them for declining, which then caused a fight to break out. Everything else is as you s-see it."
He looks towards his blonde friend to see him sighing, causing himself to deflate. Daichi looks at the blonde for confirmation and is given a nod of his head. He then looks over to Kageyama who is still protectively shielding Hinata. He looks to Kageyama imploringly, waiting for him to confirm or deny the freckled teen's story. After a while of taking in his hard eye stare, Kageyama finally nods, confirming the green one's story. Daichi sighs, not even bothering to ask Hinata since he knows he most likely wouldn't even look him in the eye, let alone answer his question.
"Alright. What are your names?" Daichi sighs, directing his question to the unnamed teens. He decided to at least get the other two's names before anything else.
The two unnamed people look at one another, before looking back towards Daichi. "My name's Tsukishima Kei." the blonde one - now dubbed Tsukishima - starts, "I'm a first year, class 4."
"And I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi. A first year as well, class 4." the green haired, Yamaguchi, introduces after Tsukishima finished.
Daichi nods, closing his eyes before looking over to Suga. Suga shrugs, giving a small frown, unsure of what to do. Suga looks to Tanaka, who gives a blatant shrug, and then to the others, who smile an apologetic smile. Suga looks back to Daichi and gives him an apologetic frown before looking over to the first pair, then the new pair with worried eyes. Daichi sees where he's getting at. He turns back to the first years, prepared to lecture them until a sudden voice interrupts him.
"Daichi, having trouble with the first years, I see?"
Everyone turned towards the gym's entrance to see the vice-principal standing there with an unamused face. A man slightly on the heftier side - okay, a lot on the heftier side - wore a tan coloured suit. He walked towards them with his hands folded behind his back; chin up in an obnoxious way, eyes devoid of expectation. As he comes closer, Tanaka steps to the side to get out of his way. However, this was not out of complete respect since his face contorts to his gangster look once again, only this time, with more malice. Him and the vice never we're on good terms.
"No, sir. We were just discussing the importance of teamwork." Daichi answers, looking pointedly at the first years. This makes all of them, besides Hinata, sweatdrop while looking away.
"Are you sure? I couldn't help but hear yelling coming from this very gym." he sneers, looking towards the first years. He give them a once over, still looking bored, until his eyes land on Hinata, who hasn't stopped trembling.
"You there." the vice-principal says, pointing to Hinata. Hinata stiffens and hides himself more - if it's even possible - behind Kageyama. In response, Kageyama shifts more of his body in front of Hinata's. "Why are you hiding? Come out here."
Daichi looks to Suga and Tanaka, who each are wearing an expression that matches his thoughts.
'Shit. This isn't good.' they all think.
"Sir, Hinata's a bit shy. Please just let him be." Suga pipes in, hands in front of himself to show that he means peace. At hearing what he said, Kageyama looks to him with a confused look almost asking, "Why are you helping us?" Suga doesn't look at him in favor of persuading the adult.
