Hey, it's me.
The next chapter is after this, so you can skip this if you want.
I'm sorry for leaving this story. To be blunt, I gave up because I didn't think it was that good. I thought it was just another cheesy story no one would really care about; And though I told myself I wouldn't leave it unfinished, I ended up doing so because I doubted. I felt like my writing style was too wordy and too long, that it was delaying the story progression.
I never stopped thinking about this story, though. I still have ideas about it, I just didn't think I had the ability to execute them. However, now that I think about it, I just had really high expectations for myself. This was my first story, so I wanted it to be good; but my ambitions got in the way.
This sounds like every other update/excuse I've read in other fanfictions, so I'm sorry if I don't sound sincere, but now that I've experienced it, I can see why authors left stories unfinished. It can feel like whether writing the story is useless, so why even try?
Thank you to anyone that was waiting. Selfishly, it assured me that the story wasn't entirely bad or useless. I honestly appreciate it *Bows
Enjoy the next chapter. Hopefully, I finish this story.
