Hello, it's me again.
I had this one edited, but I wanted to do one more run through before uploading. I wish I could've uploaded another one to make up missed uploads, but this was the only one I got edited since the last time I uploaded. I'm sorry.
A few things I need to address regarding the story:
1. I will try to update as much as possible, but I have this exam I need to prepare for as well as catch up on school work 'cause I got lazy with keeping up with class. Since it's mostly online, my work ethic drops when I'm home. I won't have much free time until after May 18th.
2. I need to find an editor. I write and edit the chapters. I prefer to do it that way, but editing my own work is actually hard because I don't want to reread my story 'cause I feel discouraged and unsure if it actually sounds good or not. I'm gonna ask my friends (They're gonna tease me so much, 'cause none of them know I'm writing one) and see what I can do about it. Worst case, I'll just have to continue editing it myself, which is fine, it'll just take longer.
3. I do plan to finish this story, and I have plans on where it's gonna go, it's just hard to balance with school work and house work (Mostly cooking).
Also, I realized this as I edited this chapter and read through past chapters, but I made Tsukki sound like a jerk. While he is to some degree, he's not one without reason. Most of his actions are done within reason.
Enjoy :)
-Break-
It was a bright windy Tuesday in Miyagi. The sun was shining brightly while the wind seemed to be more playful with the leaves than usual. The rustling of trees could be heard everywhere, with the exception of some areas, as it got drowned out by the ring of the bell, signifying the end of school. Majority of the students and teachers left for home, while others stayed back to complete varying school responsibilities. For the Volleyball club, each member made their way to the bus, all prepared for their first practice match of the year. In following the Volleyball team, two particular members were making their way to the bus, have a very interesting conversation about milk.
"I can't believe you bought 4 extra milk boxes." Suga chuckled as he watched his friend pack said milk boxes in his bag. Not knowing what kind of milk Aoba Johsai had, Diachi dragged Suga with him to buy a few from their school's vending machine before leaving.
"Judge all you want, but I don't want to be disappointed in finding out that Seijō has bad milk stored in their vending machines." Daichi joked, zipping up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. Suga just continued to chuckle, following his captain to the front of the school.
Their teacher advisor informed them yesterday to head to the front entrance after school, as they would be taking a school bus to their destination. The match is to be held at Seijō's school. Karasuno would be meeting them in 30 minutes at most.
The few days they had to practice before the match we're hectic. All the second years were nervous but excited, raring to kick some ass. The third years were excited themselves; curious as to how their line up would fare in an official game. As for the first years, well, they reactions we're pretty divided.
Yamaguchi was the only one who was openly looking forward to the match, even though everyone could see his nervousness. He worked hard in practice along with everyone else, much to the older member's delight. At least they didn't have to worry about him as much as the other three.
Tsukishima didn't show much motivation. He still worked hard in practice, but didn't appear to have much conviction or motivation to do so. Daichi knew that that's how he is, but he couldn't help to find it a little disheartening. Even so, his plays were pretty solid and smart, so they didn't really have to worry about him. The same can't be said for their tricky duo.
