Hey, guys, it's me. The writer who didn't publish in a couple of weeks I think? I honestly forgot. Sorry about that. I know you don't want to hear the usual excuse of school and writer's block - and that most of you will skip these notes anyways - but that's actually what happened. I took a couple of courses that are actually harder than I thought, so I had to focus on them. As for writer's block, I actually have the entire story planned out and a bunch of chapters already written, but they still need to be edited. Plus, with the chapter that I was on I couldn't figure out how to segway into the plot for the longest time. The publishing scheduale might change depending on school, but I'll do my best to at least finish this story. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the build up of the story is long; and when I say long I mean: Painfully long. For you and for me. Since I didn't update last time, I'm publishing two chapters. Hope that makes up for this. Enjoy.

"Don't you think you were a little hard on them? After all, we do need more players." Suga asks Daichi during their break. The day passed quietly by with their usual practice regiments. Throughout the day, Suga couldn't help but wonder about the first years. He felt bad that they had that fight, especially for Yamaguchi and Hinata who weren't really a part of that fight to begin with. However, he understood where Daichi was coming from. If they didn't get along, the events they saw unfold in the Junior High's match would repeat, which is the last thing Karasuno needs.
"Yeah, cap. Why'd'you go and get rid of the shrimp and freckles? They didn't do anything." Tanaka argues, eyes going towards the doors. He, too, was curious as to what the first years were up to. He was mostly concerned for the two he met before going to the club room. Whatever it was about them, Tanaka wanted to know. So seeing them get vetoed out of the gym kinda stung. He hoped it wouldn't scare them off.
"I know they didn't exactly fight, but do you really think they would have stayed if their friends left?" Daichi answers after taking a sip from his water bottle. He was curious as well as to what the first years thought of earlier today, and how they reacted. Honestly, as long as they promised to work together Daichi would let them back in. However, he was worried if they took it as a challenge to prove themselves to the team. He gets the sneaking suspicion that it'll happen. "Hinata would be too timid and wary of everyone, and probably would have left with Kageyama. As for Yamaguchi, it would just be awkward for him. He would've been the only first year here. It was best for them all to leave."
Tanka looks at him surprised, while Suga just nods in understanding. "I thought so. However, did you think about how they'd react? Tsukishima and Yamaguchi look like they wouldn't get offended, so they probably understand that they just have to get along with Kageyama and Hinata. I can't say the same for the other two, though. With how thin their trust is, they might end up putting their guard up fully, destroying any chance we had of getting to know them." Suga monologues, voicing his thoughts.
"I'm aware of that. There's the chance that that will happen. However, I'm betting it on their love for Volleyball." Daichi answers while looking at the court thoughtfully. At that, Suga and Tanaka both look at him surprised, then confused.
"Their love for Volleyball? What's that supposed to mean?" Tanaka asks, being the first to voice his and Suga's question.
"Exactly as it sounds. They love Volleyball. It's obvious since they didn't leave earlier. Not only, but with a team type of sport like this, their trust issues would obviously get in the way. And judging by the way they play, they've had enough experience to figure that out. However, they're still playing, despite their people skills. They might feel abandoned at the moment, but they won't quit. Not if they respect the game as much as I believe." Daichi explains. This shocks the both of them, surprised at how far ahead he really thought. Probably explains why he was calmer than usual when kicking them out. Daichi smiles. "Besides, it gives them the chance to get to know the first years."
