I'm back *waves

I got this in 11:57 pm, June 26th, so technically, I'm still on time :p

I'm sorry it took a while. I'm finally done school, so now I'll be able to get back to this story. I'll try to get back to the schedule as soon as I can. I should be able to now that school's over, but I never know what's going to happen.

A few things:

This chapter is kind of long. When I wrote it, it was in my page quota, but after editing it, a lot more got added. Sorry for the long chapter, but hopefully this makes up for my absence.

Updates will probably slow down around mid-July to mid-August because I have this program that's supposed to help prepare me for post-secondary. After that, it depends with how online school goes.

Oh yeah, I graduated.

Hope you enjoy :)

Their first years were quite the mood makers. With Kageyama and Hinata on the mind of all the second and third years, the entire mood of the bus dropped from the happy atmosphere it was 5 minutes ago to the quiet, uncomfortable one it was now. The air was stiff, awkwardness suffocating the bus as everyone was unsure of how to act. Should they prod more into their junior's health or do they pretend that nothing happened and act normal? How do they even act normal when what happened earlier obviously wasn't normal?

It was worrying to see Hinata vomit earlier, but it made sense if his nerves got the best of him. After all, with how much the kid fidgets and jumps, it's a wonder how he hasn't vomited during regular practice, yet. What didn't make sense was their hesitancy to accept the water Sugawara offered to them. It was obvious they thought the water was spiked or something, but they had no reason to think that. It didn't help that Kageyama and Hinata weren't talking to anyone, leaving the others to uselessly entertain their worries to themselves, gaining more questions and no answers.

With no one talking, the rest of the bus ride was met without incidence, other than the few jokes Tanaka tried to make in an attempt to lighten the mood. Needless to say, they all failed, but were appreciated none the less.

It didn't take them long to reach the school. Once they did, they all got off the bus.

"Aww, YEAH!" Tanaka yells happily as he jumps off and out of the bus door.

"Come on. We should go look for the gym." Daichi instructs, trying to get everyone on track. They were already late by 10 minutes, but he wasn't about to mention that. It would just give Hinata unnecessary guilt.

"Do you know where it is?" Narita asked, looking around.

"They said it was nearby here. Just head over to the East building. There should be a teacher there to greet us. I'll be with you all in a moment, I just need to park the bus first." Takeda~sensei answers while grabbing a few more bags out of the side compartments.

"Here, we'll help you with those." Sugawara offered while taking a few out himself. Daichi and the second years, aside from Tanaka, followed, moving to help their teacher advisor. Since their attention was occupied, none of them noticed Tanaka beckon the first years away from them. Once they successfully sneak away, they begin wandering around – at first to search for the gym, but later became out of interest and mild curiosity, the kind any student has when visiting a different school: What made this school different from their own? What did it look like? These rhetorical questions were what fuelled them to venture around further, slowly learning their surroundings.

On their trek, they saw the diverse buildings and greenery, but the most defining feature they couldn't help but notice was how large this school was. Even for a high school, it seemed abnormally bigger than their own. The school campus was much larger and packed with students and buildings, some that they didn't even know the purpose of. Many students were out and about, walking to their next classes or breaks, all wearing the Aoba Jōhsai school uniform.
