'Where have you been?! I've been waiting for you.' Hannah frowned. I ignored her and walked over to the windows. I looked out and saw Luke searching around the garden possibly looking for me. 'OI! AL!! Where the hell have you been?!' She snapped as she got up from her bed and glared at me. I continued to ignore her and gazed at Luke outside. My eyes widened as he looked up to Hannah's window where I was stood gazing and admiring him. He smiled at me and waved his hand in the air. I quickly bent down in shock and crawled on my knees to Hannah. 'What the hell are you doing? It looks like you've just seen a ghost.' She laughed. 'Erm..' I laughed, 'Sorry, we were late.' 'Oh.. Who were you staring at?' She walked over to the windows and peered through. 'What the hell are you doing?!! Get down! He'll notice us!' She just grinned at me and stared at the people outside with glasses of juice or wine. 'Wait.. Were you staring at my brother?!' She laughed. 'WHAT?!' I laughed, 'Of course not. I was just looking at what the people outside were doing.' I lied. Obviously, I was actually staring at Luke but she can't know that I really like her brother. I got up from the floor and sat down on her bed. She laughed at me as she slowly walked up to me. 'Don't tell me you like my brother.' 'Hannah, I don't like your brother. He's not my type.' I lied again. I rolled my eyes at her and stared at the picture on her table. It was a picture of her mum, dad, her and Luke when they were younger. Obviously I was staring at Luke though! 'Alice, if I find out you like my brother I don't know what I'll do.' She sighed. 'I'm just curious, why don't you want me to like your brother?' I raised my eyebrow. 'Are you mad? You really don't know?' I shook my head. 'MY BROTHER IS A PLAYER, ALICE.' She yelled, 'He'll just break your heart.' 'How would you know that? What if we were both so in love with each other? Would you still not like us being together?' I asked. She shook her head and replied, 'No. Boys ruin everything. If you guys dated you'll forget about me. All your time will be spent with him.' There was an awkward silence. 'If I find out you guys are dating or you like each other, I don't know what I'll do but I'm sure I'll stop talking to you.' She sighed. I can't believe she just said that? Looks like I won't be telling her my secrets about her brother for now.. or even EVER if that's the consequences. I love Hannah! She's my best friend! 'Well, good because that won't ever happen.' I sighed. She hugged me tightly and I frowned behind her back. I faked a smile at her as she said, 'Come-on. Let's go downstairs. I'll introduce you to Luke.'
