*One Month Later*

'Alice, you'll be fine!' My mum said, 'Just take deep breaths. We're nearly at the hospital.' She took hold of my hand as my Dad quickly drove us to the hospital. When we got there my Mum and Dad quickly helped me walk to the entrance of the building. I was rushed to the pregnancy department where they changed my clothes. (Sorry if this information is all wrong, I don't know much information about giving birth and stuff). After that, we quickly walked over to the place where I was giving birth. I laid down on the bed where a few nurses and midwives walked in. I felt my heart beating rapidly as I felt my head sweating. My Mum was in there with me, she grabbed my hand tightly and as I breathed heavily. 'Take deep breaths, Alice.' She smiled. I took a deep breath and screamed as I pushed. 'Come on, Alice. More pushes.' One of the midwives said. I pushed again grabbing my Mum's hand tightly. 'I can see the head. Come-on! A few more pushes.' She said. I gave one big push and she grabbed the baby. I felt so happy! But I felt fairly weak afterwards. I heard Kate cry. I smiled as I saw her from a distance. One of the nurses wrapped her in a blanket and slowly passed her to me. I looked at my baby and couldn't stop smiling. I looked at her stomach and noticed a birth mark that was shaped like a star. It was so pretty! I have never seen anything like it. I felt dizzy and my vision started going blurry. I heard my baby's cry but everything went bl@ck and blank... What's happening to me, now?
