'Mum!!.. Where's Luke?' I snapped. She looked at Dad then stared back at me. She frowned. She sat down next to me on the bed and placed her hand on my shoulder. 'Honey, Luke is.. gone.' She whispered, 'He's gone back to America with Erika.' 'What?!' I exclaimed. 'Honey, we told Luke that you're pregnant. He doesn't want the baby.' She frowned. 'That's not true!' I yelled. An orangey-red sunset formed right in front of me as my vision blurred from the tears in my eyes. I sniffed, 'Why did you leave me, Luke?' I looked down on the ground and stared at my barefoot pressing against the hard beaten road. I continued walking without knowing where I was going. I stared up at the sky as a drop of rain splashed on my forehead. After a few seconds more drops splashed against my skin, but I continued walking. The cold, wet feeling gave me a shiver. 'Why, Luke?' I shouted. I got down on my knees and placed my arms over my head. 'Why LUKE?!?!' I yelled again. 'Alice?' A voice behind me whispered. I slowly got up and smiled to myself...
