A Love Story- Part 19

Luke and I both sat down on a nearby bench at the park. I leaned my back against his chest and laid my head onto his shoulder. He hugged me tightly, 'I can't remember the last time I felt like this.' Luke smiled kissing me on the forehead. I blushed and smiled back at him. I glanced at a sweet couple, holding hands as they walked past us. I sighed, 'So what are we going to do now? Hannah doesn't want us two going out.' He grabbed my hand and held it tightly, 'She has to know at some point and so does our parents.' I got up from his chest and sat straight up. I turned to face him and quickly shook my head, 'She can't know!' I yelled, 'I don't want to loose her as a friend. She's my best friend and I love her.' I frowned. 'She's going to know at some point, Alice.' There was a moment of silence. I glared at the ground and thought about it carefully. If I tell Alice, Luke and I will end up breaking up. If I don't tell her, she won't know but will end up knowing at some point. Can't I just have happiness even for a couple of days then tell her? Am I being selfish? I looked back at Luke and pleaded, 'Please, Luke. Can we just keep it a secret for now then we'll tell them in a couple of days?' Luke smiled at me and pinched my nose, 'Of course. Aww.' He laughed, 'You're so cute.' I smiled at him but it soon faded as I stared deep into his glistening eyes. My vision slightly blurred and I couldn't see his face properly. I blinked and my vision was clear again but a tear, dropped to my cheek. 'What's wrong?' He chuckled. He got a tissue paper from his pocket and wiped the tear on my cheek. 'You're leaving me again in less than two weeks.' I frowned. 'I'm not going back to America, Alice.' He said. 'Not again. Not after what happened with us last time.' 'Are you crazy? You live in America, you have to go back.' I frowned. 'No! I'm not leaving you again.'
