He spun me around into a circle and placed his arm over my shoulder. People stared at us as we laughed loudly into each other's arms. We didn't really care if people gave us funny looks or glared at us like we have done a crime, we had each other and that's enough! 'I have a surprise for you.' He grinned. 'Really?! What is it?' I smiled. As we saw a bridge leading to a secret, hidden garden from a distance, I closed my eyes and he placed a blind fold over my eyes. 'Where are we going?' I laughed. 'We're nearly there. Just a few more strides.' He whispered to me. He grabbed my hand and placed his hand on my hip. 'Nearly here, babe.' He said. I took a couple of more steps then we stopped. He let go off my hand and he walked off. I heard his footsteps getting weaker and weaker. I was on my own. 'Luke!' I yelled. But no one answered. Was I really on my own? Had he left me? 'Luke!' I shouted again. But no response. Suddenly, I heard something. A violin played smoothly amongst the hot, summer air. It flowed amongst my ears as if I had heard that melody before. I quickly took the blindfold off and a tall, good-looking boy winked at me as he continued to play his violin. I noticed a bird on the tree tweeting along with the melody of the violin. He smiled at me as he finished playing his piece. He bowed then walked off leaving me on my own in the garden. Yet again, I was alone. I looked around me and noticed a trail of red petals leading to a table for two. I slowly walked closer to the table and admired the red decorations of ribbons and petals scattered on the table. The sweet scent of the candle blew onto my nose. I smiled to myself as I heard a quiet tap of footsteps behind me. I slowly looked around and there he was... Luke, with a bunch of flowers on his hands. He winked at me and walked closer and closer to me. He handed me the bunch of flowers and kissed me on the cheek. 'This is beautiful, Luke.' I smiled. 'Not as beautiful as you though.' He grinned. I blushed and looked down avoiding eye contact with him. He grabbed my hand and slowly knelt down on one knee. He took something from his pocket. It was a silver box with a white ribbon wrapped around it. He slowly opened the box revealing a diamond ring that was neatly placed inside. A tear rolled down my cheek. I was getting so emotional just seeing the ring. 'There's no other girl I'd like to spend my whole life with other than you, Alice. I love you so much.' He smiled, 'Will you marry me?'
