I slowly opened my eyes. Everything was fairly blurry but I saw a figure that slowly walked up to me. It was my Mum. I could tell by the clothes the figure was wearing. She quickly walked closer to me and placed her hand on my cheek. 'Honey!' She cried, 'How are you feeling?' 'I'm fine, Mum.' I mumbled. As I looked around the room my vision started becoming clear again. Hannah and Reece quickly got up from their seats and walked up to me. 'How are you feeling?' Hannah smiled as she gave me a quick hug. 'I'm fine.' I smiled back. 'Mum, where's Dad?' I said, as I frantically looked around the room for him. He was no where in sight. 'Erm...' She hesistated scratching the back of her neck. 'He.. erm..' She stuttered. 'He-' 'He went to get some food for all of us.' Reece interrupted her. 'Oh.' I said. The worriedness in my Mum's face said it all. Something was going on and they weren't telling me. My Mum hardly ever lies to me and Dad so it was pretty easy to tell when she's lying. She stutters a lot and avoids looking at me when lying. 'You're lying. I know you are!' I snapped. My mum frowned at me. 'Where's my baby?!?' I yelled, 'Where's Kate?!' My mum looked down on the floor and avoided looking at me straight in the eye. As I looked at both Reece and Hannah, they too looked down in shame. 'Tell me! Where's my baby!' I screeched. 'Honey, Calm down!' My mum whispered as she pushed me back on the bed. 'No! Not until you tell me where my baby is!' My mum sighed and glared at the flowers on the table. A tear rolled down to my cheek. It felt like everything was happening again. I went through the same process when they told me Luke has left. I couldn't help but wonder why they were all acting like this. My heart beated rapidly as she slowly turned to me with a tear in her eye, 'Honey, Kate is...'
