The following morning, Hela woke up to Phil entering her room. He had a tray of food in his hands and he was smiling at her.
"Good morning, Hela. I have your breakfast." Phil told her.
Hela faked a smile and Phil handed her her tray. She quickly ate the food and Phil took the tray.
"Now, if you could just follow me." Phil said.
Hela got out of bed and followed Phil out of the room. She was brought into a room with an operating table. There, she saw Nick and a few other agents. By the bed, there was a monitor and one of the agents was holding a needle.
"Good morning, Hela." Nick said.
"G-Good morning." Hela said shakily.
"Don't be afraid, Hela. All we need of you today is to take some blood. Then, you can meet your father." Nick told her.
Hela rubbed her left arm and looked at the table. Her breathing quickened and she looked up at Phil. He smiled at her and she looked back at Nick. Nick put his hand out and Hela reluctantly walked over to him. Phil left the room and Nick helped her onto the table. Hela slowly laid down and Nick strapped her legs and arms to the table.
"We don't want you moving and messing up with the test." Nick told her.
Hela nodded and one agents wrapped a rubber piece around her left arm. Hela inhaled sharply as the needle made its way into her arm.
"You're doing fine Hela. Just a few minutes and you'll be done." Nick told her.
Hela nodded and closed her eyes softly. After two minutes passed, she felt the needle be removed from her arm and the rubber unwrapped. The agents helped her off the table and she looked up at Nick as they put a band-aid on her arm.
"Thor is outside waiting for you. You can meet your father." Nick told her with a smile.
Hela nodded and paced outside the room. There, Thor was waiting for her with a smile and his hand out to her. Hela ran up to him and he became concerned.
"What's wrong?" Thor asked.
"They took my blood, uncle." Hela replied.
"Well, now that that's over with. Let's take you to your father." Thor told her.
Hela nodded and the two made their way to the detention center. Thor stopped in front of two doors and sighed.
"This is where we part, for now. I will be outside watching you through this. I will give you as much time as you need with your father. If you feel uncomfortable or afraid just say you're done and walk to the doors," Thor told her. "But I must warn you. Your father is not the same man he once was. He is more evil and cunning. I've tried to help him but all my efforts have failed. I believe that only you can help him."
"When did he send me away?" Hela asked.
"You were only ten months old." Thor replied.
"So he must not remember me." Hela said.
"Before he changed, he cried every day because you were gone. If you just tell him who you are and try to help him, he'll come back." Thor told her.
Hela looked at the doors and nodded.
"Ready?" Thor asked.
"Yes." Hela replied.
Thor opened the doors and Hela walked in. She watched as the doors closed behind her and sighed. Hela turned to face a big glass container where a man stood with his back to her. He just stood there, motionless and seemed to be playing with his thumbs. Hela observed him and noticed the raven black hair that was exactly like hers. if only he turned around, she could try and see the resemblance. The man didn't move and Hela took a step closer to him. At one point, she got tired of waiting and coughed.
