Hela tightened her grip on Loki's clothes and he chuckled at her.

"Father is not going to be happy with you, Loki." Thor said.

"I could care less. My daughter has returned to me and I can tell her everything she needs to know. I'm a family again." Loki told him.

Thor smiled weakly and they began to walk into the palace. Loki held Hela close to his chest and kissed her head. Hela felt weak and sick as Loki carried her.

"Don't worry, darling. Just a few more steps and we're in the palace. Then, you can explore your new home with me." Loki whispered.

The palace's doors opened and the three walked in. Loki put Hela down and she kept his cape around her. Hela looked around and smiled at the breathtaking awe of the palace.

"What do you think of your home?" Loki asked.

"You should have brought me here sooner." Hela chuckled.

Loki smiled and looked back at Thor. Thor smiled weakly and shook his head. Loki furrowed his eyebrows and looked back at Hela. She started wandering off and observing everything. Loki smiled at her and couldn't help but stare. Thor hear heavy footsteps outside the door and turned to Loki.

"Loki, now that you've returned, you must be tried for your crimes on Midgard." Thor whispered.

"Crimes? I didn't do any of that. It was Thanos." Loki said.

"Thanos?" Thor asked.

"He controlled me, brainwashed me and tortured me to get the Tesseract." Loki replied.

"I'm sorry Loki, but you must be given a trial with father. We can now use the Tesseract to make the final adjustments to the Bifrost." Thor told him.

"No." Loki whispered.

The doors flew open and everyone turned to them.

"Take him." A guard said.

The guards walked over to Loki and Hela furrowed her eyebrows.

"Dad, uncle, what's happening?" Hela asked.

"It'll be alright, Hela. Just stay calm okay." Loki replied.

"Dad? What's going on?" Hela asked.

Loki fought back his tears and looked away from Hela. The guards grabbed his arms and started to drag him out of the room. Thor walked after them and Hela ran over to them.

"Let him go! He did nothing wrong!" Hela yelled.

She tried to pry the guard's hands off of Loki. The guards continued to walk away and Loki gave Hela a look.
