"Hello." Hela said softly.

"Good evening, mother." Loki chuckled.

"Hela, you're supposed to be in bed." Frigga told her.

"I know. I'm sorry." Hela said.

"Please, mother, can she spend the night here?" Loki asked.

"She's in the prisoners with all these other brutes. I don't think she's safe he-"

"I will keep her safe." Loki said, cutting off Frigga.

Frigga looked at the two and sighed.

"Only this night." Frigga replied walking away.

"Thank you." Loki said happily.

Loki kissed the top of Hela's head and smiled at her.

"You must be tired after that party, aren't you?" Loki asked.

Hela nodded and Loki chuckled softly. Loki picked Hela up into his arms as she rubbed her eyes.

"The last time I held you, you were only about, maybe, twenty pounds." Loki said.

Hela smiled and Loki laid her down in the bed gently. Hela yawned and sighed as Loki pulled the covers over her. Loki then laid himself in the bed and kissed Hela's head.

"Good night, Hela." Loki whispered.

During the night, Hela had a terrible nightmare. She found herself next to her dead mother and started to look around the room.

"We're coming, my darling Hela."

"No one is safe."

"You will live if you help."

"Come to us, Hela."

"Come to us."

Hela woke up crying and looked over at Loki. She started to shake him and Loki woke up immediately.

"What is it, Hela?" Loki asked.

He turned to face her and quickly wrapped his arms around her when he saw her tears. Hela cried into his chest as Loki cradled her head and hushed her. Loki put his hands on her cheeks and pulled her back.

"Hela, what happened? Are you alright?" Loki asked frantically as he scanned her body for any injuries.

"I just had a bad dream. The whispers came back and they told me that they were coming and I would be safe if I helped them. I'm scared, dad." Hela replied.
