Jughead's POV
After to talking to my lawyer she said I could finally go and live at my dads trailer. Archie's dad drove me back to his house so I could stay one more night until I go and live in the trailer.

"Archie we're home." I say opening the front door. Silence filled the house. 'Wonder if he's with Veronica?'

I go up to Archie's room and find him sitting on his bed deep in thought. "Good news, I'm going to live in the trailer." I say smiling.

Archie doesn't make eye contact with me, but tells me that's great.

"What's up Archie?" I ask.

He looks up at me with sore eyes, "I need to tell you something." He says.

"Okay." I say ready for whatever he needs to tell me.

He doesn't look at me, but says something quietly. "I didn't hear that sorry." I say.

"Archie you can talk about anything with me, we're bros." I say.

"Betty needs a break." He says.

Confused I ask him with what.

"With you." He says harshly. I stare at him for awhile.

'She needs a break from me? Why?'

Tears started to form, but anger took over me. "What the hell!" I say standing up. "She would never! If you're jealous or something.." I say, but get interrupted by Archie.

"I'm not jealous! She told me to tell you that she needs a break!" He yells.

"She..she would tell me personally. Why? Why would she.." taken over by anger I grab my packed bag to move into the trailer and run downstairs.

"Jughead wait.." Archie yells from his room.

"Whatever it doesn't matter anyways." I say to Archie. I walk out of the house and slam the door.

I take the bus to my dads trailer. Dark clouds had rolled in and started to thunder when I got to the trailer. I walked in and dropped my bag.

I let the tears fall and I punched the wall, making my knuckles bleed. Adrenaline rushes through me, but I sit down and hold my head.

'Did I do something?'

Before falling asleep I had wrapped my knuckle up. When I woke up the bandage had a blood stain on it. I went to the kitchen and changed it. I looked over at the hole in the wall. I stared at it until someone knocked on the door.

I walk over and open the door meeting face to face with Toni. "I'm not in the mood." I say about to close the door. Her foot stood in the way and I opened the door. "What happened to you?" She asks.

"I don't want to talk about it."

She nods, "right. I came over to see how you were doing since you moved in." She walked in the trailer and looked at the hole in the wall, "I guess good?" She asks sarcastically.

I give her an exaggerated smile. Which she laughs at. Luckily it made me feel a little better.

I sit down on the couch and Toni joins me. She looks at me and puts her hand on my thigh, "Are you sure you're okay?" She asks.

I look at her then at the floor. I shake me head, "no I'm a complete wreck."

"Why?"

"Betty broke up with me yesterday. Well, Archie did it for her, but.."

Toni's POV
'They broke up? This must be my lucky day.'
"I'm sorry Jug" I say as I squeeze his thigh.

He looks at me with glossed eyes, we stare at each other for a second.

'Here's my chance'

I lean in and my lips met his. I kissed him but he didn't kiss back. I leaned back and stared at him. But before I could say anything he kissed me. We kissed for what felt like forever.

I leaned back, his hand still on my cheek. "I'm sorry I just had to." I admit.

He smiled, "don't apologize."

Jughead's POV
I was too angry at Betty to feel bad after I kissed Toni. We broke up so I had to move on. Toni laughed and bit her lip. She leaned in again and we kissed. Her hand traveling through my hair as we kissed.

After Toni expressed her feelings towards me we hung out at the trailer. Soon after she left and I got a text from Archie.

I shut my phone off. I felt a little bad for being so harsh, but I didn't want to talk to Archie for awhile.

'I've moved on. In a day. I moved on from Betty to Toni. It was so fast.'

I go to the kitchen and open my dads alcohol cabinet. I grab his flask and drink it all. Grunting at how bad it taste I grab some more whisky and pour it into the flask.

I go sit on the couch and slowly get wasted. I thought the whiskey would drain out all the thoughts of Betty. How beautiful she is, her laugh, her smile, everything about her is beautiful and I lost her. The whiskey didn't help.

It made the thoughts worse, she's better off without me, she broke up with you because you weren't good enough, she's probably with Archie. All the thoughts had consumed me making me pass out.

Archie's POV
I look at Betty who was across from me. Pop's wasn't busy at 1:30 in the morning. Luckily it's a 24/7 diner.

Betty looked sadder than I had ever seen her. I haven't told her what Jughead told me, and I wasn't sure I wanted to.

"What did you want to tell me?" Betty asked.

My eyes widened, 'shit.'

I rubbed the back of my neck, "I don't remember actually." I say laughing a little.

Betty saw right through me, "What is it." She says.

"Ok, ok." I say putting my hands up in defense. "It's Jughead."

She snaps her head and looks at me waiting for me to continue. "He sent me this." I give her my phone showing the conversation we had.

Her eyes glossed over as she read the conversation. She puts her head in her hands, "I don't know if I can live with this Arch. Jason made me cut off the love of my life.." she says. My heart panned when she said, 'love of her life,' but I ignored it.

She puts her hands on the table and stares out the window, "Jason broke me and I don't want to go on."

I put my hand on hers for reassurance. "Jughead and you will get back together in no time, we just have to wait until we find out what the black hood is planning." I say.

She moves her hand away, "but what if Jug doesn't wait and falls in love with Toni. What do I do then?" She says getting teary eyed.

"I promise you he won't fall in love with anyone else. I've never seen him look at anyone the way he looks at you." I say.

She gives me a small smile and says goodbye. Leaving me in the diner that consumed sinners.
