Jughead's POV
"If it isn't Betty and the hobo." Someone said behind us. I turn around and see the sister of the brother who was murdered. Cheryl. And Chuck?

"What do you want, Cheryl?" Betty said, folding her arms. Betty seemed to be ignoring Chucks eye contact, he stared her down, clenching his jaw.

"Just joining the fun!" She said sarcastically. She then butts in front of Betty and I, "thanks for holding a spot for us." She says grabbing Chucks hand and pulling him with her.

Betty rolls her eyes. I could tell she was begging for Veronica and Archie to hurry. "I have a great idea!" Cheryl says, something stirring in her eyes. "Why don't we play a game to past the time."

"How about we just stay quiet." Betty says, slightly looking at Chuck then away. "Oh come on, Betty, it'll be fun!" She says putting her hands together. Betty rolls her eyes for the fifth time.

"We're going to play Secrecy Sins. The game is basically like truth or dare, but only with the truths." She says smiling.

"I'll start first." Chuck says smiling at Betty. Something shifted in my stomach.

"I have a twisted tale about your friend here, Jughead." He says staring Betty down. "You know why I got suspended, but what you don't know, is that she dressed up like a hooker in a god ugly black wig, drugged me, handcuffed me in the jacuzzi and I almost drowned until she got me to say what she wanted to hear, and then she really lost it," I looked at Betty and saw she was on the edge of tears, I had to stop this right now, but how?

"She actually thought she was Polly, her sister, but hey you knew all about this right Jughead?" He said looking at me. That's when I lost it. I threw a punch at his jaw and he fell to the ground. I was so angry I didn't know what to do. By the time Chuck got back up Archie and Veronica came running to see if everything was okay. Before they could get to us in time Chuck threw a punch, hitting my cheek. I felt a warm liquid run down it.

Then, Chuck was about to throw me across the ground, but Archie stopped him in time. Cheryl was gone and Veronica was comforting Betty. I looked back to where Chuck was, but he was long gone. People had cleared out into the ferries wheel and it was our turn to get on.

I looked back at Betty to see if she was okay, but she was already in my arms hugging me. I was so shocked I didn't know what was going on. I then realized what had happened and I held her tight.

"You getting on?" The man handling the ferries wheel said. I looked at Betty and she nodded. We climbed in the green cage and the man pulled a lever making us move higher then we were.

"I thought you were a lover not a fighter." Betty said looking at her hands. She had them locked on something. I looked at her hands and they were bloody with marks from her fingernails. I took her hands and held them close to my chest. She was on the edge of tears again. "I've got layers." I say going in for a kiss. 'I'm kissing Betty Cooper! Holy crap' I think. She kissed me backed. We pulled back and I brushed my fingers against her eyelid to get rid of the tears she had.

"Woo hoo!" I hear someone scream above us. We both look up and see Archie and Veronica smiling and laughing. Betty starts laughing and takes my hand to hold it. I give her a squeeze and she returns it.

We finally made it on top of the ferries wheel and you could see the whole fair from here. Betty's head was in my shoulder, she had stopped crying before we made it to the top. The sir was peaceful and all we could do was sit and be quiet, letting our thoughts consume us into nothing.

After the ferries wheel we called it a night and walked to the car. The ride was quiet, but peaceful. It seemed like tonight was the perfect, yet worse night of our lives. I wonder if Betty is okay, all the things that happened tonight.

What she did to Chuck has me worried, but glad at the same time. All this time I thought she was the perfect girl and I was the screw up. But don't me wrong Betty is the perfect girl, but she makes me realize that we all have monsters inside us and they make us do things that don't make sense, making us regret what we do.

Archie pulled into his driveway letting Betty and I out and pulling out to drop Veronica off at her house. Betty had her eyes glued on the ground and didn't move. I put my hand on her shoulder and she looked at me. I smiled and gave her a hug. She mumbled something in my chest so I let her go. "What was that?" I said looking at her.

"I don't get it," she says looking into my eyes, "why are you still putting up with me? Don't you think what I did was awful and wrong?" She said beginning to cry again. I pulled her into another hug and let my chin rest on her head. "We all have something wrong with us, Betts. That's what makes us human." We sit there for awhile until she lets go. She gives me a kiss on the cheek, "thank you juggie." She waves and walks towards her house.

"Bye Juliet." I say under my breath, touching my cheek. She walks into her house and closes the door.

Betty's POV
I walk into my house ready for what's about to come. "Betty is that you?" Yep there it is. My mom walks into the living room and stares at me for awhile, then comes and pulls me into a hug. "I'm so sorry, Betty."
'She's sorry?' I think putting my hands on her back, responding to her hug

"We'll talk in the morning." She says breaking the hug and walking away. I make my way to my room and open the door. Someone was sitting on my bed. 'Polly?'

This chapter was intense to write.
I truly love how it turned out, let me know what you thought 💭
I also took the scene from Riverdale and changed it a lot.
Hope you all liked it, till next time 💕✌️
